Listened to this and other covers several times now. Apart from what you are doing great in all other parts, I totally fall in love with those plays on the high notes in the bridge (first at 3:07). You do not only play them easy-sounding, but also very rhythmically, I would even say staccato. That gives so much additional power to this bridge, even more than in the original. You rule, Julia!

Also, if you want to hear Julia perfectly recording classics with very little deviation, she proved she’s the best there is at that back when she was a teenager. You can certainly feel JPG did too much in the first 2 minutes, but name me anyone who could make the last 3 minutes sound that dope. Tens of thousands of people will hear this track for the first time because she’s remixing it. View this as a remix. She doesn’t post that often, and when she does, people want to hear her go ham on a track. Because she’s consistently elevated tracks, and doesn’t miss.

What You're missing is A-D phase that in original is relatively long and passes immediately to sustain phase. Here You have strong A-D phase because Julia has exceptional finger speed leading to very dynamic start of each note.
Average Joe is not even aware of the bassline to this brilliant track, and when they see this they wont believe their eyes...or ears! Nor would they understand the importance of the notes that aren't played! Those effects sound frickin awesome, and this, as always is another brilliant cover.

Master class! Applause!!! Correction: After some research it turned out that the original bass line was played by Guy Pratt on an electric bass and overdubbed with a Moog Minimoog synth line.

That custom fretless makes for some great slides and the sound makes this amazing for a Madonna song.
