As someone that does industrial radiography for non-destructive examination, it would be relatively easy to get access to CT equipment. At my university where I work, anyone could get access to some of our CT equipment to scan an object for about $300-350. Or can get access to one of our micro-CT systems and get much better image resolution for about $750 and possibly see the lettering. It is also not that difficult to build a CT scanner. One of my students built one for under $5,000, including the imaging camera.
Interesting. Not a radiologist/tech but familiar with how these work as I’m in pharma/oncology. Standard CT’s have a standard gap thickness of ~3-5mm. This means it cuts an image every 3mm to view the object in layers. Players name and auto is going to be very hard to detect unless it’s a sticker. If any text is concave or convex is any way, you can see it. Patches will be clear as day. People are crazy these days.
You telling me I need a Geiger counter now when looking for wax at a show? Uh-oh that’s got too much radiation, must have been searched in a CT scanner lol 😂 just a joke but not too far fetched.

Why would anybody be mad at this? If you have the bread to buy Flawless and you have the bread to have them scanned before opening then good for you. Average Joe can’t buy Flawless and the majority of the people in the hobby are average. Let’s all get upset over something that’s not on our radar!
Because a shop owner or distributor could be doing this, then keep all of the big hits and leave the scraps for the customers. Someone might be saving up to buy their first big case, or trading up a stack of cards to get one. Average Joe's sometimes want to get out of the average-zone.
these boxes could get cancer if they keep this up
Great Content. Appreciate your reporting these issues. I messaged you on Instagram of a issue I have been having. Thought you might look into it. I know you must be very busy so i won't waste your time with nonsense. Would love to know you got my message. Thanks again Gary.
what was it about I lose track of IG messages super easy or whats your handle.
@@NEO_Cards_Comics On Ebay I have someone who keeps buying graded cards at about 30% under my listed BIN price. When I ask how he got the lower price, He said I sent an offer when I did not. The screenshot he sent did not look real, close but no way to know. I blocked him from buying my cards. when I looked at his feedback he had purchased over 350 cards this month. I wonder if there is a hack to scam people on Ebay, out of their cards and money? Is this the latest Ebay scam? I'll be happy to give you specific details on the buyer if you have any interest. I thought if you asked your youtube viewers if this has happened to them, we might find it is happening more than we knew. Thanks again. Gary
This is sad 😔
