I trust you were going to repair the homeowner’s roof before leaving? That little video cam you used to film inside the wall made the yellow jackets look huge. It looked like an alien world in your worst nightmare. When you were pulling all that jazz out of the hole in the wall, I was thinking shop vac!
I love your videos but I gotta tell you I would've been so mad if you got that nest all over my blinds like that! That's gonna be hell to clean all of it off lol
Looks like several nests from years past... especially how some of it crumbled almost to dust. If the entrance isn't sealed, they will be back in coming years. Some caulk or Great Stuff would prevent that.
Yeah I honestly didn’t even think about removing them before I started. Normally nests are no where near as messy as this one was lol. In the future I will deff take more prep time to cover and remove things I can.
How long did the lady have to be out of the house in order for her to return home. I have a newborn at home and I’m having someone come and do this exact situation
I know people see the mess and think that you should have done it a different way. But trust me if you just sprayed it and left there would be a horrible stinch for months. I had some European wasp going inside my outer wall so i just sprayed and plugged the hole. About a week later we felt like we had a cadaver in the house. It stunk so bad for a few months. I finally tore it out and redid the whole wall. 😂
I could not believe before he started way not taken down the it's not curtain but the fabric over the window and the blinds and used drop clothes I'm thinking if you have to ripe holes in customers walls inside the house you would use something to keep the mess contained. Not only that there's a heat rester on the floor that is open I can bet you he never cleaned inside the heat duck to me he doesn't have no respect for the customer home
I made more work for me 😆😆 she was like 80 I removed them and cleaned everything before I left. Even had a buddy that does home repairs come and fix the hole super affordable for her.
@@wasphunter7131some people must think you just remove the nest and that’s it! I’m sure there is a lot of cleanup and repairs afterwards! Awesome job buddy!!
They were going in the top right corner above the soffit. The soffit it’s self was sealed and no nest inside. I was trying to make the entry point large enough to fit the boroscope in.
@@wasphunter7131 thank you for your response you where there i wasn't that's why i was asking. I know a lot of the time soffits are open where you can see around the area
Here's a naive question: couldn't you have killed the wasps and leave the nest? It looks like paper, so it would have made a good isolation inside the wall... Or does it rot?
Maybe next time lay down some plastic, and take down the curtains and maybe put a bucket or something at the bottom of where you are throwing the nest. I would kick your ass from here to Sunday if my house looked like that. I’d be greatful they are gone, but be kicking your butt.
I’m not sure where your doing these videos from but would you ever considered dealing with the Africanized killer bees? I watch the channel “killer bee guy” and I’ve seen them come out and just throw a cloud over him thousands of killer bees engulfing him and his wife…he said that the killer bees have now taken over all the hives and the European bees are a thing of the past…he also says the killer bee honey is better than the European bees…
@@wasphunter7131 Well as I hear it they will be taking over the north before long…I live in South Carolina (Gaffney) and I ask the killer bee guy when will they be making it to South Carolina and he said the further south east they go the more adapt they become…oh and I meant to ask…those murder hornets from Japan has now entered the North West in Washington and their saying they can’t find the hives faster than they catch them so would you ever consider going out and help finding those nest and destroy them? I’m allergic to bee venom off any kind of bee or wasps…the suits the Japanese use seems to be Hornet proof cause they go collect the hornets and the larvae and cook them up…. Boy I would be pissed if you tore my ceiling up and made that mess in my house!! No care taken here... You could have simply sealed that hole and the nest would have eventually died! No respect for folks' homes!
Yeah, comment heading wants it to be respectful….how about being respectful to the house?….but I will add to the others with concern….you should have gotten a trash can to throw that crap in there from the get go, clear the area of furnishings, curtains, etc. You would have pissed me off….common sense??

Would you rather be rid of the wasps or have to replace a blind? Smh
Dust off blinds or live with yellow jackets inside your house?😊
It’s crazy I watch all the time and still find old vids I haven’t seen
Great job getting at them and finishing them off.👍😊💕
Thanks 😊

Agreed, I had a buddy that does home repairs come and take care of the inside and outside for her and seal it all back up.
Been looking forward to your next video! Love it when you kick bee butt! 👍😊
Thanks I got a bunch left I’ll be doing like 1 a week till next spring
They’re not bees, they are Yellowjacket wasps.
Love the vids man keep them up
Good work on the nest but a ground sheet should just be standard here
That nest was insanity!
I 'm just curious???, Who is responsible for the repairs and cleanup after the nest / hive is removed.
Any concern with breathing the Tempo dust?
I hope you have enough wasp footage to do us the winter lol
I should I’ve been slowly releasing them I have a ton still left.
0:54 That’s what she said.
How about removing the curtain and blinds also cover the furniture too otherwise great video

Even if I HAD your suit I’d probably run lmao!

Why not use a vacuum instead of making such a mess
I was definitely looking at those blinds like damn that's gonna be hell to clean lol
I cleaned them before I left lol. I vacuumed everything up before I left

what happens if you heavily dust but don't remove nest? would the survivors rebuild?
Idk i think so
it seems like vacuuming that would have made far less of a mess?
In fairness you should of covered the curtains with a drop sheet they are destroyed with dirt I'd be mad
Looks like the Vesula Vulgaris species of yellowjacket which is known as the Common Wasp.
Lol, "tweaking on the drione"
When deciding to remove it from the inside, was it not a concern that there would be a lot of wasps loose inside the house?
Yeah that’s why I had the vacuum. I also treated the exterior with dust so most that were still inside the nest were dying.
that tempo dust did the trick
At least you didn’t make a mess 😂🥊
Should have removed the Curtains and blind first!
Cool content
Just saying why didn't you just remove the soffit vent, i think you could see better

Man. Would love to see you remove a honey bee nest to than start your own harvesting of honey. You probably have everything to do it.

I just want to remove that curtain.
You need a camera man, a good one, and a stabilizer

Why didn't you put the vacuum in there instead of spreading all the old comb and dust round the house 🙄
