Waynesville is gorgeous and some day we will be living there or very nearby. Western North Carolina is the best! Thank you for this video.

😂 now every Floridian native feels about people coming to visit and wanting to move down. Yes they're Floridian natives. 🤣

It always amazes me how people can think they belong somewhere more than others...merely for having been born there. Nothing you have anything to do with.
The territorial stance, "us vs them" mentality, is very lower animal brain. To rise above that, you have to use the more evolved parts of your brain (beyond the amygdala and fight/flight), to consider, to lose the self righteousness and to let go of any need to posture yourself as better than or more worthy. We all matter. Maybe get more curious. Maybe someone moved for reasons that you don't understand, but blindly judge.
Asking more, being less threatened, creates less suffering in your own mind.

is the social climate there, closer to Asheville, or maybe Hendersonville...both cute places but different social vibes

It's definitely more of a mountain vibe. Check out some of our favorite things about it: www.beverly-hanks.com/blog/waynesville-nc/

Is the place crowded with tourists? I love it, but I sure as hell don't want to leave one tourist spot for another.

Suppose that answer is relative. But nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most popular park in America, so there's sure to be some overflow traffic.

To the community of Waynesville NC bethel house a Christian based rehab for drug addiction 🤣 it's a cover up for child molester and sex offender homeless woman and child on the street but housing the sex offender in hotels and apartment the community shut down the frog level for similar activity and banded the sex offenders from pathways well the same people are at it again trying there best to blind side one of the most awesome communities in this country 👍

ok great but why you wanna build low income housing on the west side? Once you bring in apartments the area goes more downhill. Youre not gonna solve a homeless problem by building crappy low income housing that brings in trouble.

Yeah the mountains are beautiful but the people in Haywood co are the worst I have ever encountered. Anywhere. Grew up in Maggie. Will never go back.
