I love how the list highlights inventions focused on sustainability. Innovations like solar-powered devices and eco-friendly materials give me hope for the planet.
The "Paperfuge" is a toy we have been using in Jamaica, maybe even the entire Caribbean for decades. Certainly more than a hundred years. Facinating that it has now become a "new" invention. We actually use aluminium soda caps to make circular saws with them, (toys ofcourse), but effective. Interesting seeing it being used as a centrifuge, that's a useful application.
The spinning plate is not new, but using it to centrifuge blood... actually isn't new either. Manu Prakash invented it about 10 years ago. Packaged with a small plastic bead that serves as microscopic lens (Foldscope), it allows a doctor to analyze blood samples on the spot with materials that only cost a few cent. This makes tests for certain disease not only way cheaper, but also faster.
Capturing water from air will save many lives as it evolves... people and earth friendly inventors are the only ones who can save humanity it's an admirable career indeed
You can get large machines for your home or outside, especially in humid climates like ours. I produce over 5 gallons every 2 hours ran completely off a solar panel.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
Here is what happens when you replace critical journalism with just content production: beautiful images are being copy/pasted from the pr departments of the companies. So this all sounds great and fabulous, but a lot of these "inventions" are flawed or would at least need to be honored critically - at least trying to get more than one view/opinion on the usefulness of these... basic journalism... but here: everything just sounds great, no questions asked.
Korea has developed room temperature superconductors. All cultures in the world will soon change completely with room temperature superconductors(Sinsung Delta Tech, Korean company)
That Dress... It's 'Fabric'... It was Foreseen in Dean Ing's sci-fi book, "Black Stealth One" over 30 years ago. B.S.O., was a 'flying wing' aircraft whose outer Skin would change color patterns to remain 'invisible' to most observers, and, also could VTOL/hover Quietly! You can bet that Rutan has that Tech by now.
I stopped speeding down the highway at 125 miles per hour years ago. There are too many roadworks, too many little Pandas that can lose control... And then there's the enormous consumption...
3:50 why the cows are not allowed to go themselves to eat the grass outside? it will be better for them, for the environment (without additional machines), and for us eating better meat
I am not sure about the walking robot and ostriches not getting as tired because of the legs. The have the more efficient heart system that help birds to fly at all along with the hollowed bones. It is the reason why dinosours are not as slow as we used to think they where because off the more efficient heart system I believe being a 3 chambered heart instead of our 2 chambered heard. More pistons means more power baby.
There are more efficient omnidirectional wind turbine designs than the big ol fan blade deal, but more efficient, esthetic design, easily manufactured, easy maintenance, easy repair, can be mounted anywhere, made any size, wild life friendly,,,too many strikes against them, right?!
17:00 The McMurtry is a fan car: twin electric turbines buried behind the cockpit suck air from beneath the chassis and blast it out of a central rear 'exhaust' at a billowing 120dB. This is not a silent EV - it whines like an impatient jet fighter departing an aircraft carrier
''Archax will be used in fire and search and rescue operations''! Yes, but not until they put a big ass gun on it. The big ass gun robot is always first priority. That search and rescue, feel good, nonsense is just for public consumption. To make it look like we really care about people.

very good video, good luck for the future
Thank you video brilliant compliment.
Why the heck are they keeping the cows lock up and use a fancy robot to harvest grass for them instead of letting the cows roam free to eat the grass.
So they can put them on a ark .. preparing them 😂
I ask myself the same question. Capitalism is not necessarily logical.
Because then you have to pay someone to clean up their crap

Bunch of clever gadgets. Nice applied engineering.
Not an invention in the bunch.

SOME REALLY OLD CONCEPTS
At 16:52 that 320 km/hr car is only ≈ 200 mph. That's not competitive these days.
Fight fires with rubber tires?
I seriously question any of the so-called Chinese inventions. I like the concepts but not comfortable with the actual capabilities.
