I have been living in the UK for nearly 13 years but I had enough. I have graduated from renowned British university and made an effort to assimilate into the local society but I have never felt truly welcomed, Brexit just proved something what I felt for a long time, so I eventually decided to leave UK and I don't look back. It was the best decision ever. I don't want to generalise but Brits tend to believe that they are the best in the world (ha...they couldn't be more wrong though) and Brexit very well exemplifies such attitude although I am aware that people voted to leave for different reasons (many didn't even know what there were voting for). Eh not my problem anymore, so although I was eligible to become British citizen I felt it is pointless to waste my hard earned money to have citizenship of the country where people will always treat me like someone inferior due to my origin.

Your feeling like that is something you have done to yourself. No one I know goes about thinking they are superior to anyone. As to assimilating, the British are just not that open or friendly as some people, especially if you live in a big city.I moved about the UK when I needed work and lived in different cities, it was very lonely but I do not think the people in those cities were "superior" oe rejecting me specifically.

@@billycaspersghost7528 Brexit brought out an underlying racism, that was always there but never stated. Comments made to eastern Europeans after the vote made it clear to them that they were not welcome. Even if 95% are not like that, it's the 5% that do the damage.

I am from Germany and lived in Britain for 10 years. Initially I moved there because I found people to be very welcoming and open towards foreigners. However, as time went by I noticed more and more hostility towards foreigners. Even though I had not moved there for economic reasons (I am a freelance translator and mainly work for US companies) it was constantly assumed of me. Since I can work from anywhere I decided to pay my taxes in a country that also makes me feel welcome.

I hate the asshokes who make people feel unwelcome. The guy in the car described someone laughing at him for when brexit starts they'll have to go home. That is right up the street of a narrow-minded Brit.

The gov system we have in the UK, whether your an employee at Tesco’s or a business owner, will rob you off your hard earned money leaving you to work day and night. There have been reasons, why so many went to UK.
      1. At the beginning only 4 countries of the EU had the working market open
      2. Language
In the meantime some of the eastern EU countries are well off and the whole EU is open for work.

They are used to immigrants and diversity more than anybody on earth. There are some villages in Poland where people have never seen anyone of colour. So the comparison is not fair. I have seen South Americans , Africans and even Asians working in Spain. I don’t know about Bilbao or the Basque Country, but in castilla and Catalonia it’s as diverse and cosmopolitan as any big city in uk or france.

Just the fact alone Channel 4 once again hand-picked some stereotypical Polish working class with broken english is as usual saddening BS rhetoric. Myself and quite few Polish friends of mine who work in The City came to UK with good english and education paid by Polish state. I never ever claimed a penny from UK government, nor did my friends. I have had several jobs and vast majority of times the 'systems' in place are in need for a complete overhaul; appearing to have been neglected for half a decade.
Needless to say, I am rarely asked where I am from and you would not know where I am from. Unless naturally I am around lower, or lower middle class. They seem to be most affected by Me 'stealing' Their jobs. However this same people have no clue about things that actually do matter etc rape gangs, limiting freedom of speech and total media ban on mentioning those in news.
Anyways, I hope it is quite clear why the media under strict guidelines always choose this particular group of people to conduct the interviews with; especially when it comes to Eastern Europe. This rhetoric appears over and over again and definitely not helping anyone, in my humble opinion. However, You will be the judge of media gentle persuasion and if it makes you happy then so be it.

We are happy for them to stay. But new arrivals must be subject to appropriate checks and standards, such as having desirable skills, investment capability, have no history of violent crime and so on. I don’t think these people understand. This is our home and we want it back to how it once was. If not better. This isn’t because we don’t like foreigners coming full stop, there are just simply to many now. The lack of health care, housing, schools and jobs are to show for that. What is a country without these things? We have a right to want to put our country back to normal just like you do with yours. Also I find it fascinating that most of these foreign people who insist they have a right to come and go to the UK as they please, aren’t to keen on the idea of any or to many foreigners reaching their home lands. Hmmm.

Economy is getting better and people are happier.
We're not racists.. :-( please don't look at us this way..
Personally I respect your Queen and law. You've got good system made for people. I feel comfortable, but I feel like a guest in your country.. and I respect that.. that's why I understand that one day I will come back home.
England, Poland we're close friends and thank you for that.
    Bless You

Well the polish economy has improved dramatically since the period of initial migration waves, many of them were simply in the UK to make money, not for the love of the UK or to relocate long-term. I am pleased the polish economy has improved. Many people seem to be delusional though. Most were in the UK (understandably) to take advantage of the opportunities and higher wages. I have to say I am sad to see them leave but they must do what is best for them as the UK must seek to do what is best for it. I also will say British people never really disliked polish people.. they were all largely hard working and an asset... The real problematic people are not European migrants. Poliand has learned from the UK's mistakes and has implemented very sensible immigration control's to their credit to minimise problematic trouble makers from entering their country.

They will at least return home knowing what allowing a certain group of "migrants" into their country would result in. That's an experience that will serve them well in avoiding repeating the mistakes of the uk.

99% of British sentiment to the Poles is positive and the vast majority of Polish I have spoken to have enjoyed their experience in the UK.

Both of the people they interviewed are leaving for reasons that have nothing to do with brexit. One said he never settled in England and wanted to go anyway. And the other said that she couldn't imagine having a kid there and wants to go back because she's pregnant. Neither one said that they wanted to go for brexit so why does this headline say that. Propaganda.

MattCellaneous If it is propaganda, it’s pro Brexit propaganda. Brexit was all about control of boarders: stopping foreigners coming to the UK. So polish people leaving is a good news Brexit story. Also, you do realize that the flag your using is the one flown by the British East India company. This company was responsible for stripping countries of there assets and enslaving there peoples but I’m sure you knew that.
