Why not change the centre bearing yourself??? All that was needed was a new flange and bearing job done, As for a V8 Scania what a load of Shit they are, DAF much better truck plus it will last a lot longer. We have one with 1.5 millon on the clock , Clutch at 1m Turbo at 1.4 m same Engine / box axle / Brake disc . never been replaced as yet, Proper service twice a year, not a DAF service lol

My driver straps the loads for me. As he’s the one driving so I let him strap it the way he wants it so he’s comfortable

We normal always change them ourselves but this one we couldn’t do and it was too badly damaged
