I grew up in Queensbury. My addiction to New Way Lunch hots started when I was a kid and my Dad would bring some home from work. Since then, I moved to MD but when I visit, I always take as many trips to get the Dirt Dogs as I can while I am there. I have very fond memories of this place and I love that you made this video to show the iconic restaurant and amazing history of this place. I remember eating there in high school and there was a older gentlemen that took the orders. No pad of paper, would just shout out "2 hots" and then here Peter repeat the request "2 hots". Ah, the fond memories. Is and always will be my favorite place to eat and my favorite hots!!
I live in South glensfalls.
I used to live in South Glens Falls back in 95 when I was pregnant with my ex boyfriend and would go to New Way Lunch in Glens Falls and eat like four Dirty John's hot dogs and drink two bottles of Strawberry Nestle Quick milks ( hey I was eating for two 🤷🏼♀️) at least twice a week we would eat there good memories I miss that place.
I miss them everyday since moving to FL and I’ve been down here 22 years!

I would go from Sandy's clam bar across the street at 2am and order 6 dogs.😊

I thought he said he’d been coming here for forty nine years not since 1949…. Forty nine years puts it around 1974ish.
