Easy DIY to upgrade the classic air-cooled Porsche 911 fuse panel from the OE bullet style to a modern mini-blade panel. We will be installing the Adapt Motorsport 911 front and rear fuse panels on a 1983 911SC.
Install Notes:
1. This panel fits 1974-1989 Porsche 911s but the general process applies to earlier 911s and other direct replacement style fuse panels
2. The +12V headlight relay power connection is only needed to power bulbs higher than 55W. Standard wattage bulbs are powered by the relays internally.
3. This installation procedure is for reference only. Please follow the detailed instructions provided by the fuse panel manufacturer.
4. Please take all necessary safety precautions. Not responsible for any personal injury or vehicle damage.

Great video. I replaced my panel with a similar one from classic restoration (terrible customer service). Unfortunately i didn’t flag my wires and the harness doesn’t belong to the year make. The car is a 1968 911L, engine gearbox harness was transplanted from a 1977 911s. So here’s my question. What’s a good source for placing the wires in the right location? Do you have a good source for a wire diagram? My issue is my turn signal power at this time. Or lack of to the turn signals.
The Bentley manual has diagrams but I prefer the Factory Service Manual diagrams. You could probably find them if you Google around.
Question? What are the 2 relays on the fuse panel used for?

Does this remove the need for the jumpers or did I miss where you installed them?
I do remember the new panels had the same integrated jumpers as the OE panels did behind the fuses. As far as external wire jumpers, you may have a couple but I don't recall it being very many.
