Dan, at 9:21 the bishop is protecting the rook, but at 9:28 he could have taken the pawn on f4 check forking the rook. and king. Not sure if that's what you saw.
@ShAdOw777OcELL No...He was askin me why White didn't eat the black queen with the pawn in f4, (f4xQe3)...But he was watchin' by the wrong side.. the pawn moves in the other direction...I've not said nothing 'bout the bishop in h3..
yeah and his position was well blockaded and the two bishops gave great coverage. He had excellent chances of drawing and an easy game as far as coming up with reasonable moves under the time control. Just blundering the bishop was the killer.
That queen sacrifice was a bad idea. not sure what white was thinking other than having a slight pawn advantage he felt he could pull off a promotion but it was a poor bet. you are better off trading queens.
5..Nxd5?,Nepomniachtchi didn´t prepared at all agaist the English opening, even i know that after 5.Nd5,5..Bc5 is the best move for black. But still i think that Ian is a fantastic player.

it is a draw, right?

@iaf94 You are right, i didn't saw it at first but i saw it a few seconds later after i wrote that comment :D
alexander has big balls...........nevermind the lose.
He must sacrifice his queen, otherwise, Ian would play Rd8 and he would lose his bishop for nothing.
Did anyone else notice how the black bishops look different from each other? Or is it just me??
@phioshin EHy, i'v understand...The White moves in the other direction...Lol!!!
7:08 Well after Bxa5 f5, Grischuk has to give away either bishop, as Bb1 Qf1#.
Why he gave queen for 2pieces no compensation for it.
on 5:12 Grischuk could have taken the bishop with queen on b3?
can't white just perpetually check the king making it a draw?
@mateklQ no...with two queens nobody would accept a draw...
@DaniloBolleman The king woul be in check by the pawn...:)
It's Qxf4. And you're right: Blacks takes the rook.
He's wearing a lacoste shirt!!! OMG I love lacoste
Come again? What king in check by which pawn?
AH3 ! And black WIN AND DITY PUZZA,FETO.
@mateklQ no, nepomniachtchi won
im pretty sure you mean Qxf4+
Because after Qd4, black plays Rc4, which is protected by the Queen on f7, and earns the light square bishop.
I love it when Im watching a highly rated game and they move the same thing i would.
Why in 5:44 he didn't play Qd4???? Instead of losing his Queen?? [whites]
yeah, your missing a mate in 40!
who are the winner? .-.
who have the two qween????? he is the winner.........
thank you
