    Naka is not a jerk, he's competitive. He spoke to me once at the world open and was very polite which is more than I can say for other GM's I've tried conversing with who act like they shit ice cream.

    The smirk at 9:48 after saying "draw?" and his facial reactions thereafter was the best part!

  • @eggkunt4085
    @eggkunt4085 12 років тому +7

    The best part is when Nepomniachtchi doesn't move his king repetitively at the end forcing Nakamura to agree to a draw instead of getting one by repetition.

    Will you guys stop whining. Naka has a fighting spirit. If he wants to decline a draw offer and play on that is his right. Personally, I think he adds some color to the game. Good for spectators, which means ultimately good for growing the games popularity..

    Just to answer the question of Who is Nepom: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Nepomniachtchi
    He is one of the most talented players. I honestly don't think Naka is clearly better than any of the elite players, including Nepom. Naka is very unreliable player, and in my opinion his behavior as chess player is immature... My opinion.
    Carlsen is just another category..

    There are many GM which have everything that you may find ideal to become a world champion and never were. Just remember, he already beat the actual world champion a couple of times now and maybe one day in the future you'll regret saying that.

    This why Nakamura sometimes has trouble climbing the chess mountain to the top -- i.e., his immaturity and lack of professionalism causes him to lose focus. I personally like passionate chess players, but he's got to learn how to better rein in his emotions....

    • @m150687
      @m150687 10 років тому +2

      What would naka say about this comment jajaj just horrible, horrible.....learn??...he is on the peak of the mountain man, playing with few that can only get there,,,, what you talking about dude?...any top 10 is a monster...any top ten of any sport can call themselves the best of the best....haven't you thought, that the reason he is a top 10 is because he acts like that and has that personality?......not how you think he should act.....honestly what do you know....do you know him personally???...i mean wtf?

    • @hmrhuang
      @hmrhuang 10 років тому +5

      If he is on the peak of the mountain as you claim, then he should be THE best. Problem is that he's not. To reiterate, I admire his passion, but it's clearly a double-edged sword for him as he sometimes lets it get the best of him in crucial moments.

      +hmrhuang Gotem, what hmrhuang is trying to say is, "With Nakas personality, hes THAT good, imagine how much BETTER he'd be if he controlled himself under certain circumstances". And to say well "its his personality" is to say he can further progress and and has reached his own personal peak of the mountain

    С дебюта игра была очень интересной. Накамура продавливал ферзевый фланг.
    Непомнящий повёл контригру в центре. Стратегия белых вроде торжествовала.
    Однако, сказались издержки блица и небрежность Накамуры. С другим,может,
    и так выиграл бы волевым напором, но не с Яном, который активно действовал
    в обороне. И когда битая ничья, гроссмейстеру не следует опускать себя до
    уровня заурядных игроков. Там и без пешки a5 Накамура не выиграл бы даже у меня!
