MOST UNDERRATED Chest Exercise

  • Today I went over one favorite ways to train chest, the cable fly. Not only do I think it’s a great way to create a mind muscle connection but it can also be an incredible foundation for any chest day.
If you want me to go over different variations I do just leave a comment below.
Though I don't use it much right now...

I've been lifting for 30+ years. I grew up in a Gold's Gym in Southern California and worked out daily with both amateur and professional body builders and athletes, I played football in college (D1), and spent four years in the 3/75 where fitness is a way of life and mirror time is mandatory. At this point in my life am 46 years old, 215 with a 36 inch waist, and abs; so, not many people can tell me shit about lifting. With that said, I can honestly say that this is the best channel that I have seen on UA-cam in this genre. You have earned my subscription and respect with the quality of your content and no bs style of getting right to the point. Keep up the good work brother.

0:48. This exercise has blow my chest up! Holy cow, it’s so round and fuller after only doing them today, last Sunday, and last Thursday. I start under thrusting 15 reps and superset into coming in on a a more tradition fly plane, all single arm. My core lit up too. At 38 you finally showed me how I need to work my chest.

Ryan you're a genius brotha. What I like about you is that you get us thinking outside the box. People are too set on what works and not willing to try new things. You're suppose to have fun in bodybuilding... and these little tweaks are effective and can be used to really bring out the minor details you may be lacking from the more conventional lift. Keep the awesome tips coming!! Thank you

Dude, I like athlean X and Jeff’s videos have really helped me, but your videos are really helping me understand so much more. I love Jeff, but I am happy that I stumbled across your channel. No over complicated analysis and explanations and something that even me can get to grip with. You hand out some pretty useful tips and I thank you for helping build a much better mind/muscle connection, as I’ve struggled with that for ages.
I appreciate the solid job you do in helping us ‘rookies’ and wishing you and this channel much success! Keep up the good work.
On a side note, I’ve had a work accident last year, fell off scaffolding, but stuck my arm out to grab onto a handrail, and really hurt my shoulder in the process and couldn’t gym for months.
I’ve healed from it mostly, but as a result, chest and shoulder exercises still flares it up from time to time.
What can I do to ensure I get maximum performance, without placing my shoulder in jeopardy. It’s held me back a bit, and I want to find a solution around it.
I’d say the rotator cuff is what got damaged, as it’s in the back and under the shoulder blade where the punch is, but I’m no doctor.
I can’t do dips at all, and don’t want to risk it. Any other exercises that you can recommend?
And thanks again mate, love your work
