i see the havertz and rice deal for the reason that they want someone who can float into the box, that being havertz while rice has a high rate of ball retention, with that he naturally pairs with someone like haverts who will float into space to receive the ballor make an important play. indirectly strengthens our attack because we can get more opportunities. i get why stevo was saying we need someone who can get goals since saka runs out of steam.
but the rice haverts deal will strengthen the back bone of our attack.
