If we buy Osimhen for north than 100M i am no longer watching Arsenal. For all the smart things that Alex, George and Bhavs have said, this is forever going to be their worst take. If we’re to spend north of a 100 for a Napoli player, get Kvara. Osimhen has scored more than 15 goals in the league once in his entire career in Italy and France, not in the prem. Strikers from Italy have translated horribly to this league for the past 10 years and he’s injured for 1/3 of the season on average. Please, keep it real.

The back 5 is usually the defence + keeper, not defence + a midfielder.

This was a perfect analysis, you guys are professionals, I've been watching him at Galatasaray and it's just exactly how you put it, i think he's the best when it comes to positioning himself and also number one best when it comes to balls in the air. Plus in his recent matches he averages 5 to 6 shots on target and scores at least 2.
I think something that Osimhen would bring to Arsenal is an absolute focus on scoring goals! 😂❤
The number of secondary chances someone like Osimhen creates is crazy. Very few defenders would be comfortable covering him by themselves.
The moment the ball comes out, everyone converges on him. So for our attacking players the gaps created would be open invitation to attack.
For low block teams sitting back he is a nightmare which obviously creates opportunities for everyone else. 😂❤

Ødegaard was never a fantasy. It was a realistic and achievable transfer for a player who had yet to break into the first team.
Victor Osimhen has 146 goal contributions in 223 games for club and 21 goals in 31 appearances for Country despite all the injury issues. I say in the epl in an Arsenal team creating lots of chances he will thrive.

You make a great point near the start when you talk about the nature of his injuries. I keep hearing he's injury prone, but when you break it down that those are largely Covid and broken cheekbone rather than ACL and Hamstrings then it's actually not something to be very concerned about. He could also form a very nice friendship and cohesive understanding with Saka as he's Nigerian and Saka has Nigerian parents.
Covid was only like two absences if a long list.
Injury prone doesn't just mean muscular injuries, it can mean the player has a habit of picking up impact injuries.
What in the actual fuck does him being Nigerian have to do with Saka's parents? Do you find yourself being chummy with people because of their ancestry?

Really great show guys, I wasnt sure on Osimhen but after watching I can definetly see the point of getting him. My only worry is our use of funds, spending £113m on a player with 2 years left on his deal who wants to leave seems like too much. Napoli won't get more next summer if they keep him. If we play our cards right we can get him for less than the RC, and then I would be 100% certain that we should go get him!

I think Arsenal will most likely put in a bid or have a conversation with Napoli with the sale coming to about 80-90 mil excluding some add on and bonus clauses similar to the Bellingham deal with Madrid. The one thing we possibly have going for us is that it seems that there are no other major clubs so far willing to put up the same numbers.

That leaves PSG and they haven't had any links with Oshimen, it seems like they more interested in Rashford and Alverez who are by far cheaper. Both the club and player said he is leaving and if Oshimen is not in Conte's plan they will most definitely easy up on that release clause. As I said they would probably try find their money in incentives and bonus clauses you must think before you just type.

I want Osihmen it's the dream signing IMO.
Arteta still hasn't really brought in a top forward player, Osimhen is a new Gen Aubameyang, under 30 the are only 3 attackers that have more goals in the top 5 leagues in all competitions than him over the last 5 seasons excluding penalties (87) .111m is actually a fair price in this market. those 3 attacker are Lautaro, Mbappe and Haaland, before you say he is over priced think about the fee they would be worth if they were even gettable ?. If we don't go and bid his release clause I think it's an L. Would Chelsea or Man UTD let this just pass in Arsenal's current position

The opportunity to sign the big strikers like Isak and Osimhen have come and arsenal are moving shy, I have seen Osimhen do somethings Aubameyang hasn't, like the assist for Khvichva with the kick ups. Also his strength and aerial presence Aubameyang didn't have
@@vestan9365 I don't like that kick ups assist thats not replicateable. Auba was able to go on the wings and do a step over to gain space and attack. Osimhen is just an amazing threat in behind with top box prescence

Arteta has rebuilt the defence and midfield, you need a secure base so it's the right way to do it, and now, he will probably focus on bringing in top quality players in the forwards department. Which positions and who he will target is going to be interesting, what we definitely need to do is move out our Hale End lads, Fabio, Jesus and Zinny to make space for these new players.
Did you guys watch his games for Nigeria during AFCON? He’s quality but I felt lacked that “inevitability” in transitions I thought our new striker would bring. Yes he can craft chances, yes he can hold the ball up but I just don’t know if he’s that much better than what we have in terms of options (Just off of what I saw during AFCON).
This analysis sounded like a romantic proposal to say YES to Oshimhen 😁

Gyokeres is also not a bad idea. Not as fast or as good in the idea, but might be a better finisher.
It will be tough to fit in Osemheim, Havertz and Jesus in the same team. I would rather want us to get a good Saka backup like Neto and go for Isak next summer.

I think Gyokeres is a better fit.... But Osimhen is a better fit for the league. Arteta can adapt his style to Osimhen, just like Pep did with Haaland. Osimhen will pose more problems for premier league defenders, hence I'll take Osimhen.
I don’t really agree with the mid block narrative. Both games against Villa we played the long balls and beat their offside traps numerous times but just couldn’t finish our chances.

You've listed Osimhen's skill set and his abilities both on and off the ball but this is what he has in Serie A, do you think these would carry over to the very fast and very physical Premier League?
In my opinion, I think he might struggle to have the £100-ish million impact that our fan base would be hoping for. This is not a direct criticism of Osimhen but Serie A is NOT the Premier League..... not even remotely close.... and other leagues might suit his playing style more than our own.

Arsenal aren't going to drop a club record fee on an injury prone CF after going for one at 55m EUR ... same with Gykores. Agent talking up the move. We will reinforce the wide areas, left 8 or a versatile front man. Also, 110 m on a striker who isnt clinical and has too similar attributes to Jesus seems illogical and we also have HAvertz who makes runs to stretch the back four, divert defenders and create space.

Osiman would possibly cost about 80-100 million due no champion League football but realistically I would be willing to pay 85-90 million than sign Zumbamandi for for 45-50 million, Fofana for 25-35 million n sell EMSR, Nelson, Eddie, Virena, Marinelli, Trieny, Patino, Alex, Party n jesuz for total of 90-120 million this would cover the cost of osiman n for his injury record he be in a routination with Kai to avoid injuries.😊
I mostly agree but I don't think we would sell Martinelli unless we get a very tempting bid close to what we would be paying for Oshimen. Also Vierra and Nelson I think Arteta likes as squad players unless we get a replacement for both.
