Great tip Ben, I’d get near the front of the board then either nose dive or lose my balance. So rarely got to practise cross stepping back. This I’m sure will help!
I’ve found it’s super useful for those beginning to cross step - hardest part then becomes properly positioning yourself on the tail - would love to know how it goes for you!!
Some boards just don't nose ride. eg really stiff boards and really low rocker boards. The back of the board must slope forward and the front must slope level or back. It's not rocket science it's defined in the mechanics of the move.

This is great, looking forward to trying this tomorrow. Thanks again Ben :)
Brilliant, many thanks - this seems a very good approach to a tricky technique (for me)

No worries Lance!! 🙏🤙
Keen to give this a crack, thanks Ben 🙌
Awesome - would love to hear how it goes!!! Hopefully it’s useful 🙏🤙 cheers!
My friend I am a fan from Portugal. Tell me when we walking on the board for where we need to go ? To the wall of the wave or for the feets.? Thanks
Does a nose rider board make a difference in learning to cross step rather than a HP longboard
