This show was godlike. If this show came out today it definitely wouldn't cut it but the best part about this was watching this as a kid. I wish this came out on Netflix. For some reason my brother and I used to plug our controllers into the Super Nintendo and pretend we were controlling the characters of the show. *face palm*
Dude I hate you. Because that's the best goddamn idea I've ever heard and now the shows long gone, so is my Nintendo controller and I cat go back in time to do that as a kid.
OMG. I used to watch this show all the time as a kid. Shannon Lee was so fine. I'm having such a nostalgia trip right now. Thanks so much for uploading this, man!
This is one of those 90's things that I'd never thought I'd see again. We need more people like you dropping nostalgia bombs on the unsuspecting masses.
eeee i don't wanna be rude, but, i found the name searching A LOT in google. bassically i typed: tv show with a character named red dragon. more than half of the results were about the hannibal book/movie. a lot of random stuff, and finally i found the name of this series. this video was the first in the video list. sorry :(
Yep. That he was. I remember when I saw his name at the end of the MK1 credits after I beat it. I was about 7 years old. I remember I was so excited I randomly called my best friend at the time just to mention it. LOL.
I caught glimpses of this show back in the 1990s, but I never got the title down, which was one of the reasons I had such a difficult time tracking down videos of it online. Good choreographed fights: the machine I remember from the first live-action "Mortal Kombat" film. Thanks for the uploads!
I am cracking up right now. I saw this show two times 20 years ago and I can't believe I found it. I had to google "character name Tsunami" because that was the only concrete detail I could remember. Thank you so much for uploading these!
Man. The memories. Between this show, The Last Dragon, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers and Mortal Kombat they had all the kids faking like they was Bruce Lee 😂😂😂 Member having matches in the neighborhood for fun lol.
When I first saw Lucha Underground, I was reminded of this show. I couldn't remember the name and no one I talked to knew what I was talking about. So for years, nothing until today, I remembered the name and here it is. Thank you so much for posting!
My god this is pure 90s cheese! I love it! I was describing this series to a friend, and he thought I was describing a Mortal Kombat clone! I am shocked there is no cheap MK clone video game tie in!
OMG! When I was is the 6th grade, I used to get up at 6:00 on a Saturday morning just to watch this show! God only knows how much I've missed this because it's been years & years since I've seen it. Thank you for posting this.
Thanks for uploading these, Brings back old memories of watching with my cousins, we all became avid martial artists because of shows like this along with all the other movies. \m/ \m/
Before they broadcasted UFC, this was the show to watch where different fighters would duke it out. I never got the title of the series when I was a kid; now as an adult, I finally get to see something truly extreme. Thanks a lot, ma'am.
Oh my god! Thank you so much for uploading these episodes! So many memories! I remember practicing along with this show all the time back when I was in Taekwondo. I got my black belt around the time episode where Tsunami did a 720 kick, I think lol.
Was... this filmed in front of a live studio audience, like it was wrestling only with Martial Arts? (...) CAUSE THAT'S F*****G AWESOME, we need more series like this!, who here agrees with me?! :D
Funny you say that, it was originally going to be produced by the WWF, and feature real world martial artists like Ernie Reyes, Jr. and Benny Urquidez. The problem is that none of the real fighters ever wanted to lose, so the WWF backed out.
Well, I think WWE should try bringing it back, only with tons of more plots and while they'll still have league matches they'll also be team matches & grudge matches, the arena would be a big open karate arena (without the ring out) surrounded by plexiglass walls for the audience to see, and sometimes for the people who were too cheap to get tickets, each show will have 1 or 2 matches taken outside the arena in the city's main landmarks, and the broadcasts will be the same set up as WWE, with two separate shows with different fighters on USA Network, one on Thursdays with Masters & one on Fridays with Legends, and it's associated with WWE so they would do PPVs on the WWE Network and it have matches like in WWE like a Money in the Bank match with the rotating ring but instead of briefcase it's a scroll and for an original PPV match where it's a tournament but all the matches are held simultaneously I dunno I just really like the concept of Mortal Kombat & WWE fused together, it feels unique to the common sports entertainment show where it's just wrestling, but what do you think?
Maaan this show is SO COOL! LOVE this show as a kid, it has all the makings for what a little boy would want in a TV show for sure XD I wish I was able to catch this show more.
OMG U rock! I watched this show everyday as a lil kid! Now I can feel super old at 19 Lol. But for real, thanks for posting this, means lots to the Original fans lol
AAHH!! Man i finally found this, i been tryin 2 remember the name of this show for the longest! I was right there in front of the TV every saturday morning
I grew up with this show and I love it to death. I was huge into martial arts and I wanted to learn and be like these guys. But yeah... this show needs to come back. It has to and it would make for a great show to watch, even in Netflix.
Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard brought me back here! Cool to learn this was originally a WWF idea (World Martial Arts Federation) with some 80s martial artists like Benny The Jet and Don The Dragon Wilson. But with WMAC Masters they found great Martial Artists that could set their egos aside and put on a great and memorable martial show
I forgot what it was called as well, as it came on during my middle-school years. I'm so glad that I came across it on UA-cam when I was trying to find a scene where a martial artist broke a rock in half.
I miss this show so much! Its definitely apart of my teenage years. Look at pak, he was so young then and just now, got through watching a movie with him in it. He's on that grown and sexy look.
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!! I have not seen this show in ages, and I loved it... and anyone else notice... Superstar vs. Red Dragon... Liu Kang vs. Scorpion. Live Action MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!
WWE will only go down when Vince decides it. Even if its not the same level of product right now (nxt and the CwC are great) they still do strong and nobody can touch them in that category of show
Idk what the fuck your speaking of bro. I remember this show and it was OK. It wasn't all that. This shit was a ripoff between street fighters and mortal combat. WWF at the time was not doing too good because of the feud with wcw. But believe me, not now or back then would this beat WWF. So stop spreading those lies boy
Everyone who thinks this concept sounds suspiciously like pro wrestling is not wrong. Bruce Prichard (WWF's Brother Love) said that in 1994 (a year before WMAC Masters premiered) that Vince McMahon was exploring the idea for "World Martial Arts Fighters" - a regular studio show featuring worked fights between real world martial artists, such as Ernie Reyes, Jr. and Benny Urquidez. (Wrestling fans familiar with TNA Impact will note the shows location and concept are eerily familiar). Prichard said that the idea fell through because the martial artists never wanted to lose. But he mentioned that it was an idea they were exploring with the Summit Group. It looks like the pitch went from the WWF to 4Kids/Renaissance-Atlantic (who produced Power Rangers), because the Summit Group is in fact, who syndicated WMAC Masters.
I watched this when I was about 9 or so....I couldn't remember the name, and honestly thought it was real, back then. So here I am......I'm 25 now....thank you.
I never could remember what this show was called. I still remember it popping up from time to time on Saturday mornings I think. Never saw it again until recently. Lol never knew that a few people involved in the Mortal Kombat franchise were a part of it. Man it feels like forever.
Wielding Eminator Yeah, the scene you're talking about was Great Wolf where he broke a red Stone during his Wind, Earth and Ice Master Blaster performance. Season 1 episode 12.
I remember watching this show back when I was in still in high school. I thought it was pretty interesting and it was a great effort to promote the martial arts too.
For those of you who dug deep into your memory banks to retrieve your nostalgia of this awesome show, I applaud you :D
This need to be REVIVED RELIVED
youngstert They definitely have the technology and resources to pull it off even better now.

Franklyn Coaxum i did the same thing too
My brother and I used to watch this every Sundays as kids. 😊❤
OMG. I used to watch this show all the time as a kid. Shannon Lee was so fine. I'm having such a nostalgia trip right now. Thanks so much for uploading this, man!

Exeron Yup!...from the 1st Mortal Combat movie.
+Exeron Yea, he also had a small role in the TV movie Vanishing Son that began in the Action Pack back in the 90's as well.
Yep. That he was. I remember when I saw his name at the end of the MK1 credits after I beat it. I was about 7 years old. I remember I was so excited I randomly called my best friend at the time just to mention it. LOL.
EXEJON not sure but I know that red dragon played scorpion in the movie.
brypete 1021 you are correct. He did play scorpion

Daaaammmmmnnn I remember I use to love watching this show back in the day
