Y'know, I bet if that rotating platform were still around, Vince Russo would have tried pitching using it in the Impact Zone. Complete with having another wrestler jump in as a penalty.
Looking back on the dragon star champs, the less exciting comp editors were champions longer while the more exciting/ interesting people had short runs. Oh course that's just my opinion, I felt Olympus and Red Dragon were not as exciting as Machine, Turbo, and Super Star.
Kyle Masterson Superstar was exciting and he never should've lost the Dragon Star to Machine in that Subway battle that they had. Remember what a bullshit match that was? They had to place their ki symbol in a chamber before their opponent did, and that was all they had to do to become Dragon Star champion. Machine's victory and Dragon Star championship reign were nothing more than a fluke! Machine to me was always the most boring person on this show. He didn't have as much technique or fluidity with his movements as the other WMAC masters did. Machine for the most part just threw the ninjas and his opponents around like they were sacks of potatoes. He just didn't seem to have much form or much style with his fighting at all. I was thrilled when Red Dragon, Superstar, and Olympus became the champions as they were three of my favorites. I do feel bad that Turbo didn't have a longer run as champion. When I went on Wikipedia to look up the episodes, they said that the third episode of the first season was when Olympus defeated Turbo to become Dragon Star champion.
Linearly speaking, isn't the world's greatest martial artist the UFC Heavyweight champion? That would make Junior Dos Santos the world's greatest martial artist.
I used to be so impressed by these moves back in the day but no I see they are all choreographed plain as day ... and I'm really not the one to bring up mma I'm really not one of those people but these moves just wouldn't work! Maybe against someone who had no clue as how to fight.
I was a fan of this show when I was a kid, can't believe that Turbo was Mike Bernardo, and he used to have hair.
I know this episode didn't really have him in it but RIP Yin Yang man. He was great and I loved his story.
Loved the cyber-voiced announcer! "OLYMPUS FINISH IT!!!!"
I was thinking the same thing
Olympus was one of my favorites on this show, I was excited when he won the dragon star! I always though Tae Know Do was so cool!
"Turbo!! It's not over yet Bernardo!"
Nostalgia 😥😥😥
@BigboyHollywood
Golden times of our Childhood ;)
I remember watching this as a child and thinking it was real fighting :D
Likewise. I recall arguing with one of my friends about that.
What you mean it was real
haha i currently work for herb perez! hes such a nice guy
I practice Tae Known Do myself and it was nice to be able to ID the moves that Olympus used during his demonstration.
Brian Wilkerson it's Kwon not known.
0:30 is the face I make when my kids don’t wanna listen.
He grabbed onto one of those handles on the platform itself just befor the ninja fell and hoisted himself up.

No, the show was canceled after the "shocker" episode revealing Tsunami as the mysterious "third Jukido member."
But Tsunami was really infiltrating the Jukido. That's how it was suppose to play out until they canceled the show 😡
Dragon Star Champion: Herb Perez, Olympus!
its been a while since ive seen this one, that was a pretty intense dragon star match actually...Olympus rocked. turbo's a pretty strong fighter too.

0:14 "So what? OOOOWWWW!!!!"

La quiero ver en español
How was it that Olympus stayed on top after the ninja fell? I don't see how he managed it.
If I was the hanging ninja with Olympus on me, I would of just dropped, just to mess him up.🧐
was this at universal studios florida?
Yes
@@AnimeBleachBabe Orlando, Florida.
A lot of distractions from those pesky ninja!
Olympus became a jobber after he lost the dragon star to Ho Sung Pak.

What about all the other weight classes in UFC? Do they get less attention because they're smaller?
UFC or MMA is mostly two guys hugging on the floor

They need to merge this with American Gladiators in a overall remake.
