I started making great contact as soon as I worked on getting my back aimed toward the target during the backswing. Game changer. Rotation is a major key I feel like.
I love your instruction overall. I enjoyed the first part of the video. I have to admit, when you started putting headcovers on the driver and the hybrid it reminded me of Tin Cup where he got to the point of all the extra gadgets hanging from all parts of his body. For me simple practice drills work the best.
If you have to flatten the swing plane on the downswing, why not start with a shallower plane on the backswing? Is there some advantage to taking the club back on a steep plane and then changing to a shallower plane?
You’re right; no sense in easing into it with the driver. Just send it. On those days I try to get too cute with the driver.. 🤦🏼♂️ I might as well leave it in the truck and hit 4 iron all day.
Watch these guys, And watch them over and over until you get these moves down, forget about your scores, just work on your swing, this info is legit. JK
The best complete driver lesson
Nothing like an iron swing
Bravo

Clay, would I also use this driver shallowing technique with my irons?
Love the arm wrestle analogy....
Thank you for the tips.
Great video

Thanks so much!

Hat game back on point
Is that Lake Ballard?
Please address how shallowing affects lie angle
Steep shaft angle creates upright lie angle. Shallow shaft angle creates flat lie angle.

There's nothing in here about what to do if your average lifespan on driver covers is less than 2 rounds....
The young guy in the ad needs to fix about that chicken wing before buying a rangefinder.
