Yea, it feels like my puppy was a new born a day ago! (It's been 2 years)
Since Matcha is still so young, the first couple weeks he may be extra cuddly because he's used to cuddling up with his littermates. My dog was the same way and we woke up to him sandwiched in between the pillows of the bed (he was a bit shaky as well, he was only 7wks old). So be sure to keep him extra warm, cozy and ALLLLL the physical touch you can possibly give him. The first few nights I let him sleep in the bed with me so he could get adjusted and comfortable being away from his brothers, sisters and Momma. They need all love they can get. Now I have a 140lb mini-me who would stay attached to my hips at all times if he could! He's a Rottie & I swear he's the most loyal and loving dog I've ever owned. I couldn't believe my big baby turned 9 in Dec, and part of me knows my time left with him is limited. Trying to make the best of the time we have left together, so be sure to cherish every moment you have, because they fly by in no time girl 💜
Also, he may not be able to feel his peepee lol mine couldn't the first week or so. We caught him walking down the hallway peeing the entire way down like nothing was happening. (I wasn't used to boy doggos before I got him so that was new to me)

@@amachlis1991 Ik, I've been hella sentimental about it all lately because I know he only has so many years left. Part of me truly cannot believe where all the time has gone! He's my only child so I hate thinking of a time I won't have him by my side. 💔
Yorkie mother here! Matcha will definitely grow out of his whiney phase as he reaches 5 - 12 months. Food wise, continue placing him there until it becomes habit, it'll allow him to naturally know when it's time to eat!❤❤

@@ginna-qj1hl My puppy grew out of teeth around 1 year and a half old. However, for some puppies and their playing/eating habits, it can different. I suggest lots of attention and lots of mouth (tug-of-war) play.

@@reginageorge3851 Because they can attack and have risk of rabies. There are so many stray dogs in the streets in my country. So it makes me scared.

@@amachlis1991 Street dogs generally don’t get vaccinated. So they have probably rabies. But not home dogs because they get vaccinated.
I remember the first time I got my puppy ShihPoo the first time and it was the best day of my life. She’s 5 now and is the center of my universe. The love a dog can give is incredible. We do not deserve dogs 😭

just some advice from a puppy mom!! since you do have 3 stories and he’ll be little for a while you can get grass mats to put on your balcony that’s on the main level and that way he’ll learn to go outside and it be much easier for him!! you’re doing a great job already tho!

oh my goodness, Matcha is the cutest! I'm sooo happy for you and Matcha will have the best mom EVER! This is not a hate comment at ALL, but I can't help but say that please please don't promote buying from dog breeders. It sounds like you got Matcha from a responsible breeder and you did your research, but they're so many dogs that need forever homes at shelters and rescues. I know rescuing/adopting a dog isn't everyone's first choice but again, why buy a dog when they're millions of babies without loving homes. And to everyone looking to buy a dog from a breeder, PLEASE do your research (like Caroline did) and make sure you're supporting a reputable breeder. Please don't buy from puppy mills, backyard breeders, irresponsible breeders, etc.

Hey love the video. I just want to warn you about the hawks, eagles, and of that sorts. I would definitely go outside with him. I made the mistake of just watching my Yorkie puppy from inside the house (he also had an adult size yorkie with him) and I wont go into details but it definitely was traumatic. I wouldn’t want anyone ever to experience that. ❤️❤️❤️

Wow this is a long one so ty! Matcha seems like such a sweetheart and he seems to be getting the routine down especially potty time. As for your hosting. I think because you have your own home already its nice to have people come visit and kinda show it off? I’m getting my puppy when she is 11 weeks because apparently the longer the puppy stays with their mum the more they will get the characteristics of the mum . My dogs mum is so sweet and calm so that’s why she is staying for 11 weeks
