I’m still trying to figure out how we went from Samus to Captain Marvel in terms of female writing
Female characters should be written as characters.
You are absolutely correct
Fang from primal is such a great female character
You can say that again
Mothra: Single Mother, Evil Brother, Goddess of Infant Island, Dies 50% of the Time, Love/Hate Relationship with Godzilla, Pollen, Big Moth Energy, Lamp 🛋️
That’s how you write women.
It's a bit more than 50%, mate.
I always thought that Battra the Black Mothra was intended to be Mothra's mate before he turned evil and Mothra battled and defeated him the first time; therefore, maybe it should be "Evil Ex-Husband"?
In my opinion when writing a female character all you have to do is make sure does a female character is interesting and relatable to the audience. Female characters can be anything: human, monster, white, black, straight, or gay etc
My method on writing female characters:
Just watch a Miyazaki movie or Avatar: The Last Airbender and take notes.
Lady Penelope was like this poker-faced adrenaline junkie who investigated grand conspiracies for the hell of it yet she always spoke politely and overdressed and was more bothered by mud and mice than supervillains tying her up, I fucking love her. You can tell she worked because she made rowdy 1960’s UK boys want a pink Rolls Royce.
The Powerpuff Girls, Esmeralda, Rapunzel, Aisling, Saiorse, Parvana, Robyn, Mehb, Blythe Baxter, Shaak Ti, Princess Leia, Fang, Mothra, Luz, Mabel and Zubeia are examples of good female characters for me.
@@Kaijuman900 They are still characters.
Definitely food for thought for those who seek a career in the literary arts and who, by extension, intend to craft narratives with interesting and diverse characters, with specific emphasis placed upon the female characters. Exceedingly immense gratitude, as always, is extended to you Omni Viewer for granting us insightful, informative, and helpful information that assists us in our exploration, endeavors, achievements and goals within the world of writing!!!!!!! It is abundantly appreciated!!!!!!!
For me, my approach for a female character is the same approach for a male character. Work with what you're going for with the character, and try to adapt them to the story you're telling. For example, the main character of my Greek Mythology kaiju story is a female lead who fights monsters and hangs around predominately male characters or female characters that don't really act that much like what one would think for a female character, for the story. So, I'm making her more tomboyish but still having some noticeable feminine character traits. One of my biggest inspirations for that character, actually, was Atalanta, who also acts masculine in a lot of ways, but has some feminine traits alongside that. If I'm making sense.
Note to self: if I never actually get around to buying a copy of "John Carter", then I have to admit I was and am part of the problem (for why that film didn't launch a great franchise). I love the movie, even though I realize its main actor just doesn't seem to bring enough charisma to his role. But dang the Princess is great. I hear occasionally they'll finally do a sequel, and I feel something like distant hope -- but then I realize it's current Disney, not even Disney-back-then, and the sad illusion of hope dies.
Bruh, I just got back from watching the Fnaf movie what did I miss.
"Write female characters the same way you write male characters" = 90% of the problem, right there...
Why are most anime and manga pander to young women?
OK thankfully I didn't turn into what I was worried about was going to be. Since handling topics like this like with race is definitely tumultuous. Since with people like me who are thin-skinned and easily offended when something is mentioned that doesn't match their perspectives and would want to see as their perceived enemies to take those statements back. Or feel like the equivalent of that famous SpongeBob clip in Krusty Loves that represents my frustration on how fandoms and studios can't make up their minds of what they want. Where it's "We're trying to appeal to you who want this progressivism, but sill whine and complain that it's not good enough or doesn't directly pander to what they only want for themselves. And the other side responds with, 'We're only doing what you want us to do, but this is the thanks we get to doing this for you?'"

I think the lesson to take from this is: Women are people. Write women as people. What a shocker! 😂
I'm against the idea of writing men like women and vice versa
it's not gana help these characters in the long run
you need to make characters unique, you can't write female characters like that if you decided to make them men with boobs
Mehh? Just skip all the hassle & only write about Futa. Two birds with one stone. Easy Peasy. Everyone wins. Etc.
Does Male Pregnancy Count As Futanari?
@@anomalotheriataurus8806 Not sure tbh lol

Claremont's X-Men may have been great, but his Willow sequel novels make the Disney+ series seem like Shakespeare 🙄 Some of the most godawful, unreadable garbage ever published.
