Awesome bro! You know I absolutely love my Ascend 133X too. Got it setup with the minnkota terrova i-Pilot link , Helix 7 G3N and a 200ah lithium battery. Can’t beat it for the price and so many cool upgrades and things you can add. Not to mention 500lb weight capacity. Why pay $4-5k for a pedal Yak when you can get this on discount at bass pro for $899 and it’s the perfect blank canvas! Killer Yak bro, let me know when you’re ready for the two 133x video or some races! Lol
Btw Amazon sells a 10" swivel base that bolts directly to the seat for $20.99 free shipping. I have it on mine and it's an absolute must, it raises the seat about 3/4" as well. Happy yaking and great buy
If theres a gap at that rear hatch. After you do the inspection use some silicone to seal the hatch when you put it back on to prevent water infiltration to the inner area.
The battery box cut out being to small made me upset too. The hatches on mine were not water tight i learned the hard way. I didn't sink but my wiring inside got submerged. Luckily it didn't ruin my yak power stuff. Every hatch, screw and rod holders have to be sealed with marine goop. Good kayak. Just needs a lot of work out of the box.
Aliex, I love that boat. That's definitely a one man boat, with so many options. The I-Pilot with the Suzuki 2.5, or Torqueedo, or bixpy combo are a must. Imagine having to paddle that back to the ramp. That's why, we love motors. I see alot of the 30-Lb thrust Minnkota's Diy'd on alot of kayaks now. Instead of the Pdl. They purchase the non Pdl edition. This sport has gone crazy, and it's awsome! Can't wait to see your full setup bro. 😎 🎣 🙏
I got this kayak with a hawsing 45 pd thrust for controlled trolling motor and a 2 hp outboard on the back from kayak buddy with boondox landing gear and a Lowrance hook 7inch triple shot fish finder.
Good job explaining what you are planning to do with this Kayak. Wishing you the best on this project. Anxiously waiting for your videos. Thanks again for sharing your passion.
We tried to purchase the ascend on 133x they had them outside and direction at Cabela's they were completely warped and soft spongy flooring we walked away call the company in Missouri same to me they did not care All the kayaks they had for outside against the wall baking in the Sun they all were soft
My ports needed real neoprene gaskets. I had to go over every screw with sealant. They’re not perfect boats. Mine is the Ascend 128x. The box under the seat was missing. The seats are snug. The guys at the store did assembly and didn’t know what they were doing. The seats don’t rotate. Mine weighs 95 lbs. 450 lbs capacity. Both models really are like boats. If you dump it, it’s easy to climb back into!
Hey did you kayak come factory with the non skid flooring ? Or did you have to put it on ? I just bought one today and it did not come with it . Please help me figure out if I should return it or not
@@250smacks check out the Ascend 128x! 7” shorter due to no forward trolling motor mount. 34” wide vs 37”. 95 lbs vs 125 lbs. The 128x has a 450 lbs capacity. I was looking for the 133x but it wasn’t available at the time. But the 128x works for me.

I actually replaced most of them with hatches

is there another trolling motor with remote control that you can put in the back i don’t like it in front
I almost went with that boat ended up going with a Nucanoe Unlimited
you made the right choice

You should reach out to maker pipe and build a custom kayak cart out of EMT conduit.
Ohh yeah I still owe then a video lol 😆
Hey bro... Whats up!? Loved this one yak... Here in Brazil we have one like this but it's a little bit hard to pick up to river. Look's like a iron!
It is heavy for sure
What about a boonedox landing gear???????????
Thanks! Aliex
Thank you!!! Should I make more videos with andresito?
Which is better in your opinion? The 133x or old town sportsman 120? The prices are about the same
A better kayak? Way better built? Lifetime hull warranty?? 120 for sure!
@@AliexFolgueira I really can’t make up my mind lol, they both look great. Thanks for the great content
