Thanks Dave, another fab informative video. Brewed several of the kits mentioned in your reviews and only yesterday bought a Pint 365 to serve from a corny setup because of the integrated 'check valve', so this 'how to' is very timely. Keep up the great work, don't forget that Bathams is pronounced Bay-thums not Bath-ams ;-)
Very informative and fun. Thanks Dave. Just waiting for my all grain ESB brew to condition before trying my first home engine pulled pint from a corny keg. Salivating at the thought. I am really struggling to drink anywhere near my homebrew supply and I am now having to run down production for my own health especially now with this lockdown. How the hell you are producing so much beer and yet also buying more beer from your local brewery. You are a legend and obviously very dangerous ! Cheers yo you and Alan for the bring so much fun in such tough times. The 1000 barrier is in sight.
Dave I purchased a Pint365 beer engine for my basement bar here in the USA. I asked Pint365 about the demand valve they said that all new Pint365 beer engines have built in check valves, no need for a separate demand valve.
Excellent video. I didn't know about check valves. You can do a cheat. A food grade plastic water carrier with a tap. Fit a braided hose onto it and straight onto beer engine. Got water carrier which I fill with my homebrew for 2.49 reusable obviously. Works perfectly.
Cheers 🍻 Rob Just got my mate set up with a hand pull and a corny keg,he takes it to the local brewery to fill,so he's got his favourite brew on the bar ,but now he's blaming me for drinking to much 🙄 🤣
Dave- this is a great video. I’m in NY state and having trouble finding beer engines that aren’t brand new and super expensive. Do you know of a place I can get a used or refurbished engine from the UK? Cheers!
There's something call pint365 the make beer engines for the home brew market There's another place called RLBS Ltd they do new and refurbished engines ,but wether either of these would ship to the states am not sure
Great video , looking at getting a co2 bottle for my home bar . What size would you recommend to run 2 cornie kegs off and do I need a regulator thanks
You going to need a regulator, get the right regulator depending on which gas you use if both cornys run the same psi you should get away with a spliter,
Hi Dave, I brought a Pint 365 pump in the first lockdown. Did you say the check valve is all ready there? If so, can I connect my corny keg at low pressure to it? Keep up the the entertaining videos by the way, really enjoy them.
Hi Dave. I recently found your videos and have been working my way through them - love them! Thanks for this informative video. I want to connect my beer engine (PINT365) to a pressure barrell so I bought one of the taps for the barrel and the reducer you mention. I wondered if you could possibly do a follow-up video about using the pressure barrel - do you need to vent? when do you need CO2 and how do you add it? how long will the beer last with this set-up? Thanks again.
Don't vent the beer, add co2 ,8g bulb and holder, after the pressure wears from original priming you'll feel a change in the pull add co2 then and probably ever 6pints or so Happy brewing 👍🍻🍺
Great video thanks. Do you carb the beer in a corny at around 5 psi and keep gas on at 5 psi or do you just purge keg after transfer and serve straight away keeping gas on at around 5 psi. Hope this makes sense
@@beerkitreviewspartridge1083 hi thanks for the reply. So 30 psi for a few minutes / or hours ? Then take off gas for 4 weeks then purge then keep gas on at 5 psi? Sorry for questions

when you transfer your beer to corny keg, do you prime in the corny keg prior with sugar then a couple of weeks after adding 5 psi of pressure on top or do you just keg apply pressure then serve? Your help would be fantastic as I am trawling every forum but can't find the solution. Keep up the awesome work.
Hi there No sugar added when transferring to corny just try to get the beer as clear as possible by putting it in the cold for a couple of days, try not to transfer any sediment, connect to the gas line a around 30psi,take gas line off release the gas with the valve reconnect the gas and leave for about 4 weeks, the serve and reduce the gas to five psi
@@beerkitreviewspartridge1083 you can get a float system now for corny kegs about £15 it’s a short tube like the gas inlet with a silicon hose connected to a stainless steel ball float works great and you get nice clear beer
