My main concern would be the the shavings from drilling. How did you know that the keg did not contain any when you went to fill it with beer? I love the idea, and plan on doing this really soon.
I filed down the valve stem smaller than the rubber gaskets and made the hole in the top of the keg smaller (same size as valve stem)so that when the rubber squeezes it is compressed and it forms a seal
Nice tutorial. I am wondering if I could have just a single valve stem, remove its core, add the beer and then connect the Co2 regulator? Also, I am wondering if it would fit into a Heineken beer dispense with the regulator. Thank you.
Sorry for the delayed response, not sure on the dispenser, however yes two valve stems are needed one to liquid fill and one for air pressure release, now if you had say the other style kegs with the plastic push top then you can use just one valve stem for the co2,Thanks for watching..!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
How did you get the water to go into the keg ? An a parts list would be nice 👍🏽. Thanks for the video

washed it several times then ran a extension magnet to be sure
This is really smart. I'm going to do this. Why do you file down the valve stem?

Would have to hold the tap open. He has to to release air pressure from building up.
