As far as I know, this might be very hard just for the fact that it is a bass trombone as Berlioz states in his orchestration treatise: "The only cause of its infrenquent use is the great fatigue experienced even by the most robust players."

Not just that, sound, less tuning so slightly less restriction, and also some people just like the feel of more slide tube compared to more valve tubing
@@mondotrombo7167 Thank you for a comment. I guessed that some instruments with two valves had a little problem according to not only the sound but also the intonation of low F (and E) with F valve and a better effect might be obtained with Gb valve.
