    This is one of my most-watched videos. I'm still in the beginning blues phase (I think I torture my guitar more than play it) and it's always a good reminder for turnarounds. I love your style and I appreciate all the free lessons. Please keep em coming. P.S. If I happened to win one of the guitar giveaways, you'd get a new customer (my father in law). Just saying...

    Do solos stay in the same pentatonic key scale as the song or do you have do go to the 4th and 5th chord pentatonic scales of the song throughout the riff? I hope I asked this correctly! Your are a very a good teacher thanks.

    • @nicksonthevet
      @nicksonthevet 7 років тому +1

      You can play a solo in the pentatonic scale of the key throughout in one position only! You can connect the second and all the five at ago! more over you can only target tonal notes during the forth and fifth chords! You can also switch to 4th and 5th chordal scales as chord changes!

    Profesor :how you call that technique where you place one finger on the root note and then you alternate notes with another finger.I'd seen a lot of blues players doing that and is hard to find videos that teach you how to do it. You are the best. Hugs from Bogota Colombia.

    I noticed sometimes at the end the last note you play of the turnaround is the open low E string. Do you do that no matter what key your playing in or are you only doing that because your in the key of A and it works for that key? Thank you.

    • @yourguitarsage
      @yourguitarsage  8 років тому

      Typically there are tiny screws that you can tighten to the guitar. Then there's one screw that tightens the gear. There may be one on the knob itself as well. Don't torque them down too tight however. Just snug is what you want.
