I saw this late, Hats Off, I can’t think of a better way to bond with one’s kids, and deliver a memory that will last a life time. It’s the doing of Hard Things that builds character..
I was looking for inspiration during this awful lockdown. I just found it! Your boys will remember this for the rest of their lives, because it was so challenging and that they overcame numerous hurdles to complete such a ride.
My son is in Neds year at college. He coerced the family in to watching this and so we did.. just to humour him. It is an absolutely brilliant video and we enjoyed every moment of it.
I really enjoyed your video and also impressed at how you all managed to complete that gruelling ride, especially the lads, with determination like that they will go a long way in life.
Great watch, it highlights a definite need for Cycling UK to make this a permanent route. LETJOG is on my to do list however not as a roadie I'd worry about the angry drivers so would want the off road scenic bush route over the tarmac pot holes route. What an adventure for you all, I take my hat off to all 3 of you. Great to see.
@@ffinlokilner A worthy experience. Thanks for sharing it with the world. I've the majority of the kit now for my effort and plan a dry practice run by doing the South Downs Way Double before seriously planning LETJOG on my MTB👍
Congratulations. What a great adventure. Your narrative was brilliant! Amazing! I have an almost 8 year old boy and I’m willing to do something special with him and your trip was really inspiring. Thank you for sharing!

@@ffinlokilner thanks buddy but it will have to wait til my working abroad days are done as i have very little time with my family til then i hope in the next 12 months i can come home to UK and get out o my mtb more and try a challenge like this.

Where's all the views? This is a masterpiece I'd get it sent to gmbn if I were you. That trip just seems mad and rad and it much have been so satisfactory when you got over to lands end
Rarely do I comment on UA-cam vids but this is pretty special, not just the journey but the memories and times together. Well done all. Even in this increasingly homogeneous world it is still possible to be free and share that adventure with those we love. I'd love to have details of the route you took if that's possible?

Hats Off to you guys a legendary journey. Memories made. I plan a similar trip with my boys this year should we be allowed. Though a slightly different route. As a reference this is a great little film well worth an hour and nine minutes of my life. As research for areas to plan for, invaluable. I read the report linked from a US website So glad that you made a film too. Thanks Jim X
