right. u pay 300 for install and notice nothing has been changed.....I have trust issues.not to mention takinging it out after and seeing black tape everywhere
Btw that wavtech LOC has great clean signal and power for anyone looking for a great LOC rather than an audio control or KISL great demonstration on reddit by an audio installer running several LOCs and this one performed the best believe it or not even competing with LOC2i etc..
Bro I’m so glad I found this page, would you be able to make a video breaking down and understanding the installation process and what to look for in amps and volts and frequency, pretty much how to understand grounds and the aftermarket audio life
Clean work. Thats some professional stuff there, not some driveway junk (guilty of it). I used to have a wild system with a total of 6 mid-hi and 2 subs, two auxillary amps. Pobably did some hearing damage and pissed a lot of people off, but it was fun. I missed having trunk space, so if I can find something compact I'll go that route on my next vehicle. The factory system is good enough for me right now, though a little more bass would be nice. It's not in the budget.
Some line converters completely cancel out the head units EQ. If it didn’t, and you turned the bass up, you’d probably just distort quicker than you normally would…probably.
@@JohnZornAscendedA LOC cannot cancel out the headunit EQ. I mean it can if it's calibrated for a static EQ, but I don't see how it could ever compensate for an EQ change.
That hurts my soul to see those nice of subs with an high to low running them. My buddy did this same thing. I talked him into swapping to a new head unit and it was so much louder
JP my LC1i is having a ground loop issue, (humming when I rev) any tips? I ran a nice ground to the LC1 as well. When my amp has no RCAs connected there’s no humming (2017 GMC Bose)
What does a 30,000 car due differently than a $3,000 car other than comfort and and features like for just getting A to b. What does it do different besides cost a huge amount of money in insurance and repairs and maintenance and depreciation?
How do you keep customers from putting the bass settings on the radio to full tilt? I can set and tune to my hearts content but there's always people that either turn the gain on the amp up or turn the bass setting to destruction mode. Then they come back pissed off saying things like " you don't know how to install amps and subs" or " i want my 💩 fixed or imma bust a cap in yo ass" 😅😮 I hate the aftermarket 12 volt industry, actually the customers is what i hate. A bunch of know nothing bass boosted defective people that clearly know more than the installer. Not everyone, but most people.
Bro can you do a beginners guide/terminology series or something? I don’t even want a large sound system I just get confused when I see anything about them
Can you upload a full length video showing this full process and al the equipment you use for testing like that Meter and what you’re checking for. Like a literal idiots guide for tech semi literate people that don’t understand but can with some explanation
I know all the money for these vehicles. They should come with systems. It's not 1998 anymore like the fact that a car can cost that much and not have premium speakers. Subwoofers and twitters is kind of gross
@@rkzooplaysno CT sounds are known to be cookie cutter subs made with premanufactured parts and just put together. They do not do any manufacturing or design. Nothing about them are original. Same with Skar.
So happy to see someone doing it right. Nice.

Damn I'm pretty good at installing sounds systems I do my own all the time but you're next level my guy
Great information
Any recommendations for a shop in Southern Cali that can tune my System this way? Love the videos and commentary ❤
Using Lc2i... So I need to set the gain on the amplifier..... After the active loc has the acubass set??
Great video
Doing it nice and right!
Doin it right!! 👍🤘
🔥🔥🔥
So for the radio, can u do this check the RCA plug?

Check out infinite baffle and trunk baffle installs, you get to keep most of your trunk space and can still have great bass
❤❤❤❤❤
What are you using for o scope please ???
Hi Jp, is this the other option to use this meter instead of the smd device
Will adjusting the EQ throw off the tuning?
Yes

@@Leo9ine You should look it up. There are LOC and DSP units that do it.

Ay where can I purchase that tool lmk thanks
Amazon
Curious didn't see any of that wiring saying OFC on it.

What’s that tool he used to tune the amp?
First stereo install video watcher here, pardon my ignorance but what's an loc?
It's a connector unit for normally modern car head units basically a plug into wires
Stands for Line Output Converter
😮
I see you use a lm2020 do you not think smd is worth the high cost
Wats ur location

Bare wire in the amps gives me goosebumps 😬

Not gonna work for me. I need dangerous amounts of overlap. But that’s the way it is when you listen to Metal 😁
-0db?
What's the average cost of having someone tune your amp correctly like that?
It’s easy a handheld oscilloscope minimum costs 80$.
Or just use a DD-1
This is too much. Just hook up yall system. You got need all this science for bumping sounds
Idk.. their thermal & meso subs look mean fr bro
And you can't say it's reliable because the older cars are more reliable
You def know what you’re doing, why ct sounds though? I heard they are shit lol
U heard wrong, ct sounds is a great company
thinking of skar?
