There was a scandal in Australian cricket called Sandpaper gate when the Australian cricket team was touring South Africa in 2018, during the third test one of the Australian bowlers Cameron Bancroft was seen on television and the ground jumbotrons rubbing a small piece of sandpaper on the ball. 5 days later following investigation by cricket Australia Bancroft admitted to rubbing sandpaper on the ball also the Australian team captain Steve Smith & vice-captain David Warner were also involved in the incident. Belichick was on the list, but Brady wasn't.
