Tape and Microsound- ‘Lightbulb Moment’- RtB

Quickly, because it’s a short video: a simple plonky Rings sequence played by Nebulae into Echoz, recorded into Phonogene. The recording is spliced, slowed, and reversed- and then played alongside the original sequence played at half-speed but at the original pitch. Mad reverb from the Desmodus Versio.
It’s taken a while, but emerging from a longish winter of Covid- and a few years after embarking on the modular venture- I find myself focussing on the tape and microsound manipulation side of things, and by coincidence I have an Error Instruments Brinta arriving tomorrow too. The t&ms skiff- 104hp- is no longer big enough, especially as I want to get the Monsoon in there too. Another new case is needed.
Like and subscribe, good people, spread the word and keep an eye out for modules that may be deemed surplus to requirements. It’s funny,but I was messing with actual reel-to-reel tape more than fifty years ago (how I wish I still had that Grundig!), and here I am full circle. Such is life…

I have hardware coming, and could in theory have used the title days ago- but there currently seems to be a fashion for selling gear that doesn’t exist yet. The new case is one example…
