A band that in my younger years represented my teenage anger with horizons to reflecting my go get the attitude of my 20s with IRE and reverence to how I behave now in my 30s as a father it’s grown with me and I love the new sound because it reflect my more laid back attitude. Love it!
I loved this. Such a cool and unique track. The guitar work on this was great I loved it.🖤
The more I listen to this song I pick up something else hidden back in the production what a great song
This will 100% be used in movies
Amazing song, showing the young ones how it's done! I love old Parkway, but oh hang on....I just love Parkway! ❤
The intro sounds like a mix between Stairway to Heaven and FFDP’s version of house of the rising sun. And then the verses sound like Nothing Else Matters by Metallica 😂
The chorus riff is so good in this, WOW!
It's different. I like it. There isn't a Parkway Drive song that I don't like.
Haha, the cowboy comments 😂Definitely get that vibe though, or like a Bad Company vibe almost. We know now that this wasn’t the closer for the album, but the mid album breakup track. I think ending on a banger like From the Heart of the Darkness worked out pretty well, though. I’m growing to appreciate the album more with each listen. My only gripe is the repetitive and simplistic riffs, along with EVERY song going from soft to heavy to soft to heavy again. 1 or 2 just solid heavy hitters through the entire song would have been nice. This song would be awesome though at Wacken like you mentioned. Overall I dig this song. It’s obviously intended to be a ballad, not a banger, but it still has the PWD sound and some catchy hooks with the leads and whistling going on.
This song is a masterpiece. Best one on the new album
I agree!
Not my typical preferred music taste; however, this song is a ballad. It is captivating and honestly mesmerizing; I've already listened to it a dozen or so times.
What the fk is mesmerizing
I think this is fascinating. Of course its not in your face PWD that we like but this is their nothing else matters, november rain, stairway to heaven etc. Very well made! So far this record blows Reverence out of the water. Maybe besides Wishing Wells.
This is not the album closer. Its track 5 right after The Greatest Fear
That whistle is haunting
I love watching reactions to this and it's just people quietly staring and saying "ok" because they aren't really sure how to process this.
Mix of stairway to heaven/and nothing else matters is whati fealt from structure to vocal delivery style
This is Parkway's "November Rain". The guitar tone is like the exact same in some places.
Good song...got a little Nothing Else Matters vibe during the slow part.
Hate their “new stuff”, but absolutely love the old stuff and this, this was amazing. This is creative, not festival rock written to a template. Thats all I ask from any band, borrow influence and be creative.
The intro I get Civil War by GNR vibes for some reason lol
As a kid in the 80s , I’ll take anything from Parkway Drive over Metallica but that’s coming from a Megadeth fan .🙃
It's a good song. Reminds me of "bleeding me" or "Outlaw Torn" by Metallica.
Song is a L dude
@@grimreaperboy94 I don't give a fuck about what you think, I posted my opinion stating it's good. If you don't like it, why tf did you click the video?
JohnnyCashcore
Winston's singing on this just sounds so flat
My how far this band has dropped.
You still looking up
yet your still here 20 years later
Snorecore? 🤔
Song is corny as fuck... John Wayne Cowboy Metal is definitely a good way to describe it. LOL. Sounds like that mixed with Nothing Else Matters by Metallica and a "I'm a sad 14 yr old boy" type of vibe. 5/10
Some of the comments here. If you like the old stuff, go listen to the older stuff. If they kept churning out the same stuff album by album then the same people would be complaining that the band is boring. Love it when a band evolves, matures and continues to have that wow factor.
