This is a channel for people who suffer from DPDR and anxiety (depersonalization and derelization - DPDR). If you have depersonalization or derealization there is a way to get out of it and get your life back. DPDR is a symptom of anxiety that makes you feel like you're looking at yourself from the outside (depersonalization) or you experience life 'like looking through a fishbowl' (derealization). More symptoms include emotional numbness, panic attacks, racing heart, intrusive thoughts, feelings of dread, visual snow, catastrophising and so many more.
It can be extremely scary and exhausting and often it feels like there is no way out which causes a lot of anxiety. However, there is a way out and it's absolutely possible to live a normal and connected life, permanently.

i have dpdr very often (especially depersonalization) and i am diagnosed with OCD, lately my worst thought that’s actually bothering me is that i might develop DID (multiple personality disorder) bc i don’t actually know myself? even tho i do. but i cant recognize my own brain due to depersonalization. i feel so lost in my own thoughts i can’t know for sure if i’m going crazy or not. i feel like i’m watching a movie of myself mad i’m not actually myself is this normal

They're all symptoms of anxiety and DPDR - there's no link between DPDR and DID and thinking you're going crazy is a common symptom. Book a discovery call with me and we can chat about it more. calendly.com/discoverycallwithdan/60min
