I was employed with Lucent from 1996 thru 2003. Started at $6.50 per hour and as soon as my union pay scale topped out at $24.00 per hour they laid me off. They called it A lay off, I called it being fired. Lucky for me I took my skills to another trade and have A master electrician license in the state of Texas. I am so glad Lucent went under, and is no longer able to offer people false claims of job security.
+Evan Collins Original video was a meager 158 x 120 pixels. This and the other Lucent video I put up were both stored in the very small space available on a credit-card-sized disc.
Ah, the late 90s. Dreams were possible.

Yeah they recruited me and I wasn't even there a year before the whole company imploded. Thanks Rich and Carly!
Carly should be in prison, she must have a huge set of lady balls to think she had a shot of getting elected president.
I enjoyed my time at Lucent, in three years became a 5 ESS certified tech and a CCNA. Both helped me land work after I too got, "laid off"
Do you have a higher-resolution copy of the video, or the original disc? I'd be willing to buy it as well.
