    I like the Copper Age for 1985 to 1992/1993, and then something from 1993 to mid 2000s is continuous era before movie speculation and CGC grading helped shape the publishing initiatives. That said, the current era really isn't that different than the 90s. Publishers using cover gimmicks and massive crossover events to bring in readers. Art styles are always shifting, but the continuity and publishing approach are very similar. Now I do think there's almost an "ultra-modern" or "hyper-modern" version of comics that has been going since maybe 2011 or so. Think of all the Image movie pitch books, MCU spec, DC New 52, All-New All-New Again Marvel, direct-to-CGC graded variant covers, art books, etc that have defined the last 10-12 years.
