Not only on interviews. It's easy to pretend to be humble when they're filming you. But in an environment where you're not being recorded, that's another story. I went to the meet and greet with Nightwish in Rio, and she was absolutely amazing. Not only she wanted to know her fans, but when I spoke of her masterclass, she wanted a full feedback, and she was happy I wanted the managers to be in my photo, since she agrees there would be no Nightwish without them
Its not an exaggeration to say nightwish's music saved my life. Endless forms came at a time where i was at a really dark point in my life and greatest show on earth was like a wake up call like "what are you doing?? look at how beautiful everything around us is." Im not going to say it "cured" my depression, but Nightwish is one of the major influences on me learning to get better and appreciate the beauty in life.
There is something almost mythical about her. But yeah, she'd be top-notch with any of her skill sets - singing ability, stage presence, versatility, kindness and down-to-earth demeanor, intelligence. Crazy all of that in one person, wrapped up in quite frankly, to be honest, a majestic beautiful body.

I have in the past compared Floor Jansen to Ann Wilson. To be honest, I do not know if Ann could replicate "Everdream" like Floor did @ Wacken 2013, but on the other hand I don't know if Floor could replicate "Crazy On You" when Heart performed it live back in 1979. I strongly reccomend giving Ann Wilson a listen live from Heart's tour from that era. She was also magnificent!

Floor definitely has more range, not just in vocals but in languages and genres she can sing in. In the end though, music is an art, and if Steve Perry makes you feel a certain way, then he's the best singer for you. We all have our musical spirit animals ;-)
We are SO LUCKY to LIVE at the same time as Nightwish and our Warrior mommy Floor. People in the future will only be able to see them on a video BUT WE GET TO SEE THEM LIVE IN PERSON AND ON STAGE! We are so blessed and so honored to see the bands we love live 🫶 That's why you should go to thw concerts everybody! NOTHING compares the feeling of beeing actually there vs. seeing the bands here on video.
If you are one of the blessed beings on this planet that got to experience that concernt endling live: Cherish it, it will never be repeated like that. I had it in Leipzig in 2022 and I will carry that memory with me forever.
Same here! I saw them last summer in Greece and I was in trance during the whole show. Literally everything was magical... This ending, the ending of Shoemaker, Ghost love score, the last part from the greatest show on earth where we scream "WE WERE HERE" all together! We are so blessed to have witnessed this live, I still can't believe it how lucky we are. And we will cherish these moments forever 🫶
I know Nightwish aren’t touring their next album but I’d do anything to see them 😭 (I’ve been trying but all concerts are either too far away or at times I can’t do)
After waiting for all my life (I'm 30 now) I got to see them this summer 1 week before my finals. No words can describe what I witnessed on this concert but I truly wish you get to see what I saw one day and it'll be worth the wait I promise 😍 🫶
They are amazing live. I saw them 3 times. Once with Annette once with Marco and band. Last time I saw them in Louisville Ky with Floor Jansen. She is absolutely amazing. Not even Tarja compare to Floor!❤
Tarja doesn’t have to compare with floor. It’s floor who has to compare herself to Tarja and that’s all she has been doing since her time in Nightwish. She has copied everything Tarja has done but comes no where near to what Tarja has achieved in the music industry. Bands and singers name Tarja as influential and cover her songs. Same can’t be said for floor.

Same here! I saw them last summer in Greece and I was in trance during the whole show. Literally everything was magical... This ending, the ending of Shoemaker, Ghost love score, the last part from the greatest show on earth where we scream "WE WERE HERE" all together! We are so blessed to have witnessed this live, I still can't believe it how lucky we are. And we will cherish these moments forever 🫶
I lived this epic moment on their concert in Brazil and I'been holding those memories in a special part of my heart too.

I know Nightwish aren’t touring their next album but I’d do anything to see them 😭 (I’ve been trying but all concerts are either too far away or at times I can’t do)
After waiting for all my life (I'm 30 now) I got to see them this summer 1 week before my finals. No words can describe what I witnessed on this concert but I truly wish you get to see what I saw one day and it'll be worth the wait I promise 😍 🫶

They are amazing live. I saw them 3 times. Once with Annette once with Marco and band. Last time I saw them in Louisville Ky with Floor Jansen. She is absolutely amazing. Not even Tarja compare to Floor!❤
Tarja doesn’t have to compare with floor.
It’s floor who has to compare herself to Tarja and that’s all she has been doing since her time in Nightwish. She has copied everything Tarja has done but comes no where near to what Tarja has achieved in the music industry. Bands and singers name Tarja as influential and cover her songs. Same can’t be said for floor.

Tarja is no where near the level of Floor in any area of singing. The only trick she has is her head voice with vibrato which is so ordinary among other opera singers. Floor has brought a new dimension to not only to Nightwish but also to singing.

Laugh at you typical floorfans. Without Tarja there would have been no Nightwish and without Tarja and Anette there would have been no great songs for floor to sing/f.up.
Floor’s just an overrated, average at some trades and good at nothing who only found real fame off the Tarja/Anette era songs. Her albums are major disappointments.
Floor flopped in her previous band and only found fame from Tarja/Anette era songs (will credit Tuomas for those songs as well as Tarja’s vocal arrangements). And you may be right about that new dimension of floor’s; mediocre. Just like hers albums. Why even the new song sounds mediocre, singing is bad, music is better. Floor can’t do symphonic and orchestral like Anette or Tarja. And sounds so unnatural when she tries to. She tries to be a multi-trick pony and fails at all of them.

They just don't share their opinions in public for ethical reasons, ask them in private and they will tell you why Floor is unmatched technically. You can't compare a horse and a donkey. Tuomas taught the old Nightwish fans a good lesson with firing Tarja. Fans were thinking that Nightwish was Tarja and without her they would disband. However Tuomas has shown that it was the opposite. Nightwish made Tarja and without Nightwish, she was just an ordinary singer. The old fans who attacked Tuomas for his decision has been mad to see that Tuomas was right.

Floor is versatile enough to sing all of the styles of past Nightwish singers. She is not just the opera if Tarja or the jazzinees of Annette, but the metal and prog as well.
But she isnt that good with the classical Part...she has a better Trained chest voice though

She may be trained, but doesn’t mean she won’t struggle. Songs show she struggles with singing at high volume and high power. Songs show she struggles with singing some songs having to belt or scream and sounding unnatural. She’s decent but nothing special and doesn’t excel at anything in particular. Her ending in POTO is weak at best.
