IDEA for a cheap easy meal video: Mexican rice. I usually make it with something like the following ingredients: 250g brown rice (dry) 1 400g can black beans 1 200g can sweetcorn 1 400g can chopped tomatoes 2 cloves garlic 1 cube veg bouillon pinch chili powder + bell peppers/scallions/whatever veg as desired Thanks for your amazing content as always!!
2 tablespoons of oil 1 head of brocoli 1 carrot Scalions or 1 onion 1 clove of garlic 1 chilli Mushrooms Rice 3 tablespoons tamari 1 tablespoon of Turmeric Salt & pepper Lime juice Chilli flakes Sessame seeds
I love that it's all about the concept! You can change the ingredient, but this channel allows us to by ourselves at the supermarket with whatever is the best deal! Cheers from Brazil 🇧🇷
2tbs of oil Rice/ grain salt black pepper Head of broccoli - finely chopped gratted carrots green onions garlic 1 chili white button mushrooms lime juice 3 tbs tamari tsp of tumeric other ingredients you can add: sesame seeds chili flakes chopped nuts
Thumbs up to Shaun & also for any1 wanting without oil - you can do the same thing & just sauté in a bit of water and tamari. 😋 Deliciousness and simplicity. 🤩
Ingredients: 250g cooked rice 1 Broccoli head 1/2 Carrot 4 Scallions 1 Clove of garlic 1 Chili A handful of Mushrooms 3 Tbs. Soya Source/Tamari 1 Tsps. Turmeric Pinch of black pepper 1 Lime Chili flakes Sesame seeds
Having a ball watching you two cuties and getting a kick out of the irrrrish! Fabulous recipes too! Just changed how o make black bean corn soup no oil after watch8ng. The casserole episode and I said WOW! It works!
Loved the noodle stir fry last week! Look forward to giving this a try. I would love to see something that was quick and Christmassy, like roast veggies, or something like that!
Could you please do a just-got-home-from-work-and-the-kids-are-hungry-and-fussy easy and tasty supper, please? That would be much appreciated. Thank you for all your great videos, really like the quick to make recipes. obvs... x
I simply love you guys, love my sis, love my guy love my dog so you're in good company. I'm not attracted to coconut anything but have adapted so many of your ideas when my mind goes blank for a second, you are to be celebrated, the pear of you. Rich Roll is Gen X, meaning a decade younger than I, but through the prompting of my significant guy I started to watch his very long pod casts. He was lost in admiration but didn't quite get you guys, but I do, take that Rich Roll inspirational human nevertheless.
I love you guys, love the £1 videos. But not loving the rushing it’s stressing me out 😂 chill guys, there’s no way I could do this in 5 minutes anyways because there’s 1 of me!
Yesssssssss, but like Jaimie Oliver they really use the minimum of kitchen utensils so I get that. I came from the opposite end of the spectrum, gadgets galore; now I do use a box grater and a microplane for lemon peel and ginger and garlic and own an instant pot for beans or slow cooking stews, and lastly a really good blender that did not cost $700.00 far from it; use it for smooth soups, hummous etc. A coffee grinder for spices and flax seeds. A good cutting board and proper knife and that is the inventory.. Bored out of your mind? Actually it was interesting to realize how much I whittled down my kitchen. Great comment, cheers.
Burmese (chickpea)tofu recipes.. sweet or savoury x being unable to eat regular tofu I’d love to see more ways of making and using chickpea tofu .. it’s cheap and easy and just as versatile as tofu
Would love recepies for Big pans of tasty stuff I can cook up at the wknd and freeze in portions to have during the week. Don't really hAve time to cook during the week. Thanks :)
Ive only ever heard them called spring onions where I'm from, maybe us Yorkshire (wo)men are weird? The word scallions is so oddly satisfying to say, though 😂
If you aren't aware of how bad the state of the planet is you need to watch a plastic ocean (it's on youtube and netflix) - avoiding extra plastic is more important than avoiding spending 30 seconds to grate a carrot.
Okay you guys are nuts....lol. What the hell is the rush? Slow down, pour yourselves a glass of wine and turn on the jazz. I promise you it will be much more zen and enjoyable. Cheers!!
I enjoy you guys and your recipes but I also wonder what the point is of setting a five- minute limit. It's like the artificial pressure those awful TV cooking shows put on the chefs in order to increase the ' drama', but you guys don't need to. Is anyone THAT pushed for time?
I'm a student and sometimes I have a tonne of assignments to get through and I put off eating because it will take too long to cook and there's a deadline coming up but I can't think because I'm too hungry, or I just get home very late and I want food NOW, because buying food out is expensive. So I really appreciate the time limit, it reassures me to know I'll have food in 10 minutes (because I'm not twins) and I'll be able to get back to my work. Of course I love to spend time cooking too, but sometimes life gets in the way! We don't all have the luxury of time.
oh my god why would you put your phone on your stove!! like that gets hot even if you don't fire that spot up!! i have a gas stove and i burned myself multiple times while trying to clean up the stove 30mins after cooking because the stove was too hot

Amazing knife skills 😁
Love that it was a one pot dish as well.
I made this tonight and it was so tasty . I added some coriander after serving and it was lovely . I will be making this again .
Good recipe & food. I will be trying this. I love being adventurous in the kitchen.
Perfect! I have some plain, cooked brown rice in my fridge that I wasn't sure what to do with! I'll be making this for dinner tonight!
Loved the noodle stir fry last week! Look forward to giving this a try. I would love to see something that was quick and Christmassy, like roast veggies, or something like that!
Loved the Vegan take on fast food - Kebab Video. Can you come up with a vegan take on chinese fast food ? Maybe a series Vegan Vs Fast Food.
You mean Bacillus cereus? Looks fantastic... can't wait to try it.
Could you please do a just-got-home-from-work-and-the-kids-are-hungry-and-fussy easy and tasty supper, please? That would be much appreciated. Thank you for all your great videos, really like the quick to make recipes. obvs... x
Make food ahead of time and store it in the fridge.
Looks delicious. You always make me feel, happy, safe, and peaceful. Namaste Gents!🕊❤️
You guys are the best! Just the recipe I've been looking for...
Would love to see some more videos spotlighting home grown herbs and veggies, sourdough and more homegrown/homemade stuff like that!
couldn't find broccoli this week so I grated in zucchini, don't like shrooms so I added celery instead- so versatile and bomb!!
Amazing how simple some recipes can be! Hey frozen corn would work with this too!
Looks delish - will try!

Thanks for the videos
I think is much better use homemade stuff, but sometimes we need thinks ready to use. 👍
Love the five minute challenges! Fun video guys.
Thumbs up 2 the camera guy. Great job.
Go Shaun ( sp?) or Sean
Looks so yummy!
Fresh ginger would add so much flavor
Hey that was delicious, thank you so much. xx
Gosh, i love this concept!
You’ve read my mind!! 😍😍😍
Four hands ARE better than two for making good time. lol. Thanks for meals guys!
Love the golden grater, Cheers, Sean.
Amazing you guys
I want to see 1 EURO dessert in 5 minutes!
Pepper for the turmeric 😋
You lads need a box grater, you would have been able to whittle that carrot down in seconds.
Yesssssssss, but like Jaimie Oliver they really use the minimum of kitchen utensils so I get that. @@evelynbaron2004 What type of blender do you use?
Can i use coconut amnios instead of tamari xx
Will try it today 👍
Love it, 5 minute meal, let’s go, phone straight on the hob lol 😂🤣😂
I know o could see that phone meltdown
Great recipe!!
We call scallion spring onion as well 🌱
Burmese (chickpea)tofu recipes.. sweet or savoury x being unable to eat regular tofu I’d love to see more ways of making and using chickpea tofu .. it’s cheap and easy and just as versatile as tofu
Hey I am from uk and I don't know what a green onion is but I do know scallions and you two are rascallions !
Never seen a supermarket call them scallions.
@@henrywiltcher That's what my mother called them, who cares about supermarkets, lol
@@MoreChannelNoise sorry, I presumed you shop for your own food.
@@henrywiltcher maybe I avoid super markets
Ive only ever heard them called spring onions but maybe thats just a Yorkshire thing.
Can you make something with more iron or magnesium? 😊
Yay Shaun. Spring Onions in New Zealand.
Would love recepies for Big pans of tasty stuff I can cook up at the wknd and freeze in portions to have during the week. Don't really hAve time to cook during the week. Thanks :)
Great recipe. Ha-ha, how about russian borsch next?
Is this the premise for the next book? Recipes for financial happiness??
In the UK we call it spring onions
Homemade Tempeh! I won't give up haha :)
Thumbs up Shaun!!!
Oh YUM!
Do you don’t separate the garbage in Ireland?!?
I’d love to see this with aubergine and courgette etc and a thicker sauce
Ive only ever heard them called spring onions where I'm from, maybe us Yorkshire (wo)men are weird? The word scallions is so oddly satisfying to say, though 😂
The Tamari Twins strike again!😀
Today I’ve used Marmite instead of soy sauce, mixed it with water and weirdly it worked XD
Fresh ginger would add so much falvor
Can do you a knife skills video? Thank you
How about some meals that do not require cooking?
Yum but no garlic in my job
I’m definitely buying my carrots already shredded lol

😋😋😋
❤️
Looks delicious but there would be very minimal protein in this meal wouldn't there?
Okay you guys are nuts....lol. What the hell is the rush? Slow down, pour yourselves a glass of wine and turn on the jazz. I promise you it will be much more zen and enjoyable. Cheers!!

ferncat1397 this is very true.
These dudes probably have about 4% body fat between the two of them, so "slow down" is not even close to being in their vocab. :-D
Are the mushrooms even cooked?
Red lentil pasta please
It's important to cook mushrooms properly.. so let it cook a lil longer
You can eat mushrooms raw, all down to preference
you lost me on the pre-cooked white rice....but the veg is always good
Throw some almonds in there boys.
5 min 4 hands :D Looks delicious, but small package of rice is not so environmentally friendly guys. :(
Tht meal would cost 15$ for ingredients in u.s. broccoli 4, mushrooms 4, onions 1, garlic 50 cents. Rice 1.Well 10$.
Me: Five minutes? Nice! I can do that!
*watches how he cuts the veggies*
._.
How about a Steak 😈
A head of organic broccoli costs 4$ in the u.s. has to be organic otherwise it is gmo.
Called spring onions in the U.K. not green onions
YUM YUM🤡🤡🤠🤠🤓🤓
Top tip: Nigella snips her scallions/spring onions straight in with scissors!
But then you need to also clean scissors, silly goose.
oh my god why would you put your phone on your stove!! like that gets hot even if you don't fire that spot up!! i have a gas stove and i burned myself multiple times while trying to clean up the stove 30mins after cooking because the stove was too hot
You lads need an IKEA grater - ditch that crap one!!
Bs. The mushrooms are still raw
yikes you put yer phone on the stove... Yikes the mom in me wants to move it.
WHO IS WHO SPEAKING 😩😩😩😩
Instant rice??? Really guys come on.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. The state of the planet and using less packaging is more important than keeping this under 5 minutes.
You don't have to rush to prove healthy food is easy, if anything you make it seem more difficult by rushing. Good work though!
Cheers Sean!
