Again I'm in awe of how you know the map like your back pocket. Combined with that absolutely great music and your calm narration it's just perfection. I hope you never stop providing such great content. Hat's off!
Dude! Great episode! Getting all staged for a contract like this makes it a real joy to complete if you have ever played the region before, just flailing about! Lol! Like you said, it's super pretty, which is lucky for Saber, cuz it's not an easy region to give a big hug to right away! This series has changed that! Lol! My son really appreciates the chapters, cuz he doesn't like to pause, he'll just rewind and keep ya rollin while he does his thing! He doesn't know what it means, but leaving some ambiguity really does make for great follow-along episodes. He likes that he feels like you leave the playing field open enough to "be creative but still able to follow along well enough to not get lost!" Lol! He's right though! And my better half is in tears from that comment about the GMC and not needing the lift for the 47's... "I did not." 🤣💥 Fantastic! The community here has said everything best... In very few words! So it's much easier to read! Thanks for takin us along, and showing us the WAY! I'm feelin really good about Flooded Foothills this time around!
Glad the chapters are helpful, I think I'm going to try to include them from now on. Also glad I could make you all laugh at the GMC line. Haha Flooded Foothills is gonna go smoothly I think, and hopefully you guys enjoy it. Thanks for your feedback about everything. Really appreciate it. ✌️
Cleeaaan gameplay (Ank is still hurting from his banged up tire). You're making this region look so nice. I remember it being such a slog when I first played it and I used Russian trucks only. I'm looking forward to you doing Maine. I'm replaying it at the moment and I'm trying to be as efficient as possible but it's no easy since tasks and cargo requirements are all over the place. Thanks for uploading. By the way I enjoyed the longer episodes a lot but I understand that it takes a lot of work on your side. Maybe thirty minutes would be a sweet spot?
Maine is loads of fun too. Another nice looking region, especially Yellowrock National Forest. I kinda always aim for around 30 minutes but sometimes they work out more or less than that. This one got shorter than I expected but there will be some variation as we get into the big contracts of Flood Foothills too. I enjoyed the end product of the longer ones, just getting them done in a week was a little stressful on my end. The poor ANK needs some love after that lol
Your vids are cool! Your narration makes them so professional. I find very interesting your use of shortcuts. Althought Snowrunner is, often, about you ignoring some obvious paths and "thinking out of the box" I don't always try more hidden shortcuts. P.S.: I like that highway too. Transported many logs on it. Ha! Han ha!
Thanks a lot. I'm all about the shortcuts and have spent many (many) hours finding them. That highway is pretty useful on this map. Enjoy it while I can!
Yes you can, i just find that putting them on the roof is easier for me to get them back out again. There's no wrong way, just a matter of preference. 👍
I like the end product of the longer episodes but man, scrubbing through 3+ hrs of footage to make them was A LOT of work. It put a huge amount of extra pressure on me to get them done in the week I allow myself.
@@zorshix For the longer episodes, it is not necessary to upload every single week! We totally appreciate it, but keeping the quality this good, and content overall this epic... Just do you! Even a quick "outtakes" montage, or funny game glitch moments would suffice if you truly felt the need to upload something while a longer episode gets the time it deserves! Just say'n! Lol!
@rvdeddrift Thanks for that, I'll have to take it as it comes but I am really trying to stick to my personal commitment to an episode every week. Sometimes work is just more busy than others and it happened to be that it was while those two longer ones came through.
Did flooded foothills first then had to take a break from the game before doing salmon peak but I finished it. I’m guessing it less than 33% completion. Any general tips for planning when to do each contract/task? I can’t get over how you always have a truck or trailer exactly where you need one. Truly impressive!
You finished it, that's all that matters. I'll reveal the % completion on the next episode but good guess. As far as tips for order of contracts/tasks it just comes down to playing the regions more than once. Every time I play them I start to remember what I'm going to need and where later on so I'm kind of always thinking way ahead and trying to plan for it.
As I get farther into the other regions, I feel like the intuition comes into play much more! As you play along, you'll notice certain contracts, or tasks take you along a certain route, and it may hit one, or two, or three other, viable "things" to do along the way! It only takes a few minutes to get the route, and task/contract logistics in order, and then alt+F4 to yer notepad, or spreadsheet and record the info. I also have a spreadsheet of what each cargo will eat up in cargo slots, and a system of presumed "weights" for each, consisting of 1, 2 or 3 plus signs. Lol! But it has helped out an ABSOLUTE TON when going blind into a new region!
@rvdeddrift that sounds a lot like what Zinng does with his spreadsheets. Interesting stuff. I've never been much good at implementing physical lists and spreadsheets for stuff like this so I end up doing it all in my head. Definitely not as efficient as your method but it's the best I can do with how my brain works lol.
@@zorshix its not the amount of work but the amount of tasks/contracts remaining. based on the fact that there's far fewer contracts in BP im gonna say 75-80% actually lol
How are you doing my friend? I’m doing good personally but if you have some free time when you work on the next like Yukon to get that for no Wisconsin, let’s conference first episode out. Do you think we could maybe play Snow Runner together you usually see him an hour or two late in the video but I am up. I was up since 5:30 AM so once I go. Once I got the message, I kept on it my microphone wouldn’t work so I had to restart my iPad
Whats ur brightness if u dont mind telling because my game looks very dark and ur game looks vibrant and colourful i was gonna ask u in rhe last video but didn't want yo bother you
For future reference, it's not a bother to me. I appreciate everyone's comments even when they're questions. My in-game brightness setting is about 1/3 up from the bottom, and I play on an HDR Dynamic setting on my monitor and that brightens it up a lot. On standard definition I need my brightness closer to half in-game.
Never feel bad about asking or saying anything! Lol! Cuz I basically roam his videos and reply to everything! Hahaha! It's a super friendly and incredibly welcoming community he has here! The brightness is actually something I play around with a lot! I just recently got a monitor with legit HDR, and it is able to save profiles. So I have one for, day, night, and overcast which is common here for about 4 months in the fall and winter. But my son has decided to use a blackout sheet, and turns on the same lights in his room to keep it a sorta consistent number of lumens. Ambient light swings will definitely make finding the right brightness harder. See if you are able to control any mount of ambient light if it changes often.
@rvdeddrift My monitor faces two walls, like in a corner and I keep the biggest window facing west covered. It keeps it pretty consistent in my gaming room.
This is basically my life now! It's my Sunday, and my better half actually likes his videos too! Lol! Long story, but yeah... It's a "Zorshix upload" type of situation! 😅
This is why having these videos is so clutch! There have been a few contracts that took me literally 4 or 5 times longer than it did with my "follow-along" game save that actually follows the entire video series. Plus the staging and successful execution of such ridiculous contracts gives you a sense of accomplishment that is otherwise kinda lost when ya just start flailing about, like I normally do! Lol! I will say this though... As Zorshix has pointed out before... Sometimes having some experience with the region, prior to watching the videos can make things come together a bit easier! So pokin around upcoming regions or maps is not only fun to break up the monotony of whatever has you buggered, but comes in handy once he get there!
@@zorshix I recently read a Reddir thread where a couple dudes were talkin about this region, and the one said something like... "You remember we have done ALL of Kola, dude we survived Imandra....... Right?!?! Lol! That says it all! Yukon is just gnarly!

7:34 I’m also just not a fan of the 8slot trailer. The troubles caused by it definitely outweigh the benefits
It has a very limited use case that's for sure. Needs wide open spaces.
Same here. Tried it once. It gave me so much trouble that I've never used it again. I prefer doing more travels or creating roadtrains.
