As a Raiders fan I find it hilarious how insanely talented Herbert is. He can fit the ball in a key hole 50 times a game but the Chargers are wasting his career.
As a diehard Chargers fan…respect to you for saying that.
He throws to the other team or the wrong spot 9/10 times.. accurate?? He is as accurate as Zach Wilson… you people are crazy,. Download the teams files and go through the actually tape.. he never sees the best throw on the field, he is not accurate and makes horrible decisions..
@@xGR1MxREAPERx
U know very little about football
@@xGR1MxREAPERxyou aren’t watching the games. He has some of the best stats and also just looks competent and calm when he’s out there.
Dean spanos is on the hit list
J Herb is doing pretty well considering the offense can’t run or pass protect well at all.
Losing Corey Linsley and now Will Clapp cripples the whole offense
Will Clapp is an incredible name
@@pullupjeffif only clapps was his middle name and cheeks were his last
And missing 3 of his top 4 receivers with a rookie project who can’t catch now at #2. 19 tds 5ints with 22 total tds is impressive. You add no run game and bottom tier defense and what’s he supposed to do? Yesterday, in order to win, he would have needed to catch the ball too
@@mr.moonmouth4404 and play defense and coach too….
@@cjcurtis8944 yeah, it’s just a sad state of affairs. Staleys been a disaster
Herbert should legitimately have 0% blame. Staley is awful and the Chargers roster is terrible. It appears star-studded but that entire defense is full off past-their prime stars who are extremely overpaid. Without Herbert, the Chargers might be the worst team in the NFL. It's that bad in LA.
Worst team is definitely a stretch my guy
They have 14 pro bowl caliber players dope
As a Charger fan you are not wrong. We have a lot of overrated players: Bosa, James, a lot of our big name defenders aren’t great, they’re solid. But yeah Staley has no idea what he’s doing so he’d lead this roster to about 3-4 total wins this year if Herbert wasn’t QB
Funny how Herbs had a bad game a few weeks ago and everyone was going off that he was overpaid, sucked, etc. Anyone who's watched that team since he started playing QB knows that Herbs is not the problem.
@@smh0825 - Telasco has been a subpar GM & his record illustrates such!
How much longer can the Chargers justify keeping Staley around? He's ruining a generational talent.
As long as Spanos is calling the shots, Staley and Telesco will keep their jobs.
Spanos is cheap
Not sure it will matter. They will likely bring in another bad coach.
on the Chargers I blame 50% on Dean Spanos the owner and 50% on Brandon Staley the head coach
Correct
I love how Jmac rolled his eyes with 80% blame on Zach and says "most of the blame goes on the GM" than says Mac Jones should have 90% of the Blame.
J Mac, the Jets roster is still wayyyyy better than the Patriots, and Bill is the GM. Dont get me wrong, Mac sucks, but most of the blame is on Bill
I don't wanna call for someone to get fired but it's not like Staley will be homeless. Dude has to go.
Colin only one that actually watched chargers games and sees that it’s not Herbert’s fault
No he isn't
Some is Herbert’s but most of the time it’s the defense. Justin herbert usually puts the team in situations to win then the first play on defense after an offensive td they give up a 40 yard play
The chargers firing staley will be the BIGGEST addition by subtraction since JAX fired Urban Meyer for Doud Pederson.
Spanos will never hire a big name coach because he is too cheap.
Is Stanley still calling the defense of plays?
Herbert needs to leave the chargers, they’re wasting his prime
As a chargers fan I agree if Staley is still coaching after this week that organization don’t deserve herb at all
@@finessewrld23Are you willing to let Tom Telesco hire a 4th head coach?
@@sburgi306 nah I want Tom to elevate Kellen Moore and see what we have in him but Ik the chargers aren’t going to do that
U think their GM after another head coach under his power is fired?
@@finessewrld23if Salah gets scapegoated out of New York the chargers should definitely consider him
IMO Herbert is to the chargers as Caleb Williams was for USC. I wonder where each team would be this year without their QBs?
I find it hilarious the chargers and the bears are in the same boat yet people wanna blame Herbert who is in the top of the league in most relevant stats every year and has set records, yet Fields who has done nothing but have one good season as a RB is talked about like he is the second coming.
Been hearing some people say firing Staley wouldn’t fix anything in LA cause at the end of the day the Spanos family will still be there. While fair, just look at the Raiders post Josh Mcdaniels… the entire aura around the franchise improved dramatically overnight in Vegas and I’m hoping the same would happen with the Chargers
It starts with the Spanos family because they have been bringing in terrible head coaches for almost 20 years. Not one good coach since the 2006 season.
The most eye popping stat was the jmac take on how fields has one 100+ QBR game…against the Chargers.
90/10 Mac? Stop it. Mac Jones is struggling so much because they cannot draft receiver talent worth a damn. I forget what the co-host's name is, but he's insane for saying that. Mac Jones is far from an elite QB and I don't think he's above average, however, I would argue that's on Bill Belichek as well. Mac is his draft choice. He cannot develop offensive talent at all.
Now do it for over performing teams... i.e. Detroit and Cleveland
Cleveland yes.
Detroit? No. Detroit is performing how they should be given their roster.
I have been off Stayley since he played Williams in a meaningless last reg season game and he got hurt in the 3rd missing the playoffs
If you watch packer games, yes of course jordan love deserves some blame, but before these last few weeks where the offense has started to look competent, the play-calling would abandon the run game, there was complete lack of attention to detail with the receivers, as well as plenty of drops, wrong routes, and lacking the ability to make contested catches. The pieces on the offensive line have regressed, and thats not just the lack of Bahktiari's presence. AJ dillon has been awful most games he's played, cannot stay on his feet or hit gaps for the life of him. And all of this without me even mentioning how bad the defense has been. Joe barry has an obsession with not giving up the big play, but will let teams methodically march down the field and eat up as much as they want, which is why while the packers are pretty good in terms of points given up per game, they give up near the most plays per drive. Not to mention how its become a meme in the packer's community that Preston Smith is our number 1 corner because of how he somehow finds himself match up on the other team's best receiver on multiple occasions. Everything has just been poorly managed, Gutekunst making this team by far the youngest in the league on offense is not a recipe for growth. The pass catcher with the most experience on the team in terms of games played is Romeo Doubs, who's a second year player. The last team to be this young, were the 0-16 browns. The lack of veteran presence is what will slow down this team and the rebuild.
It’s the defense you can put up as many points as you want but it won’t matter if the defense can’t do nun
I didn’t know Herbert was calling the defense, too?
Packers are absolutely more 50/50 than it being mostly on JLove. Watch the tape Colin.
Agreed, love is still learning, but Lafluer’s judgement and play calling has been shotty at best. Hasn’t gotten the team prepared in numerous games.
I don't think you're the one watching the tape lol
Chargers have a really good safety but idk about a really good corner, all of them are pretty middle of the pack this year id think.
The corners and linebackers for the Chargers haven't been good. The safeties and defensive line have been decent.
And the Herbert defending continues. That L to the packers was not on Staley. Time to start looking at Herbert
what play did herbert lose that game on? Dropped TD to Keenan? Drop by the rookie with a minute left? fumble by eckler on the 2? nonsense.....
Then who’s to blame for the Seahawks underperforming? Carrol or Smith?
Where is Quinton Johnson on the Chargers chart?
Colin hates JMac so much 😂
He’s a backwards hat kind of guy
We do too
Let’s just look at the Chargers losses to the Chiefs with Herbert. They are 2-5. In three of the losses, Herbert gave the Chargers a lead with 2 minutes or less left in the game and the Chargers defense let them down.
That’s the story. They are in every game and the Defense can’t get off the field on 3rd down.
J Mac is making Colin look more competent than ever with his wild comments. 90% for Mac Jones is a comment bordering on mental illness.
I stopped listening as soon as Colin absolved Josh Allen of any blame. It's not McDermott who's throwing 2-3 picks/game.
Funny how a little squirrelly guy like Jason dislikes a big squirrelly guy like Mac Jones. Shouldn’t they protect each other?
Obviously It's the coaching and get rid of Tom Telesco too !
Offense and defense lines are horrible
5% is too high. Should be 0 honestly.
Matt eberflus deserves 90% of the blame for the bears, i don’t know how he tricked anyone into believing he could coach any level of football.
LOL…the Falcons are so mid that they can’t even make it into this segment and the fanbase has this exact same discussion every single week.
Dumpster fire since 1966.
Herbo has 19 TD to 5 INT, 100 passer rating and the 4th best QBR and ur gonna blame Herbo lol😂😂 he’s a top 5 QB in the NFL and there’s no debate
he isnt clutch though... no ability to win a game in the end.
@@SwayneIIIlast I checked he was tied at 2nd in 4th quarter comebacks since he entered the league
@@SwayneIIIgo look at the last game against the packers, his wr dropped a wide open touchdown pass with less then a min left in the 4th

@@TheProHopper he’d drop it, and you and the media will claim it was a bad pass and his firm was the best in history. And they would still lose… that’s all they do, lose
We have seen some QBs overcome bad coaching. Herbert is good but he ain’t that guy
Brandon Staley should wait about 7 years BEFORE he trys to be a hc again. The timing is all wrong. Unfortunately it wont matter who the Chargers hc is, just like it didnt matter when Philip Rivers was there. It could happen that the Chargers only have one chance to EVER even get to a super bowl mayb next season and thats it and Justins wasting his years just like Philip Rivers did.
thannk god someone actually watches the game and not just assumes based of stats and results alone
Herbert gives the Boltz the lead in the 4th consistently !!
franchise is cursed with dean spanos in charge
Brandon Staley without a doubt.
Give Justin Herbert a real coach and people will see his true talent
Blaming the quarterback that was supposed to be a back up this year. I’m surprised Colin isn’t blaming Aaron for getting hurt.
90% coaching 10% justin herbert
Washington hasn't underperformed, they are about what people expected.
Get him to Pittsburg
Ooooh that'd be a great fit! Though as a Bronco fan, I'd prefer him in Denver!
Sadly, he'll never leave the Chargers unless he asks out

Herbert gets coaches fired he's a chokeartist just like the chargers
Herbert doesn't give af about LAC "wasting his career" lmao they're giving him $260M!!
He cares way more about winning than money but he’s loyal to a fault.
Oh cmon now, that dude cares much more about winning
Staley. Next question.
Zach Wilson should be at 99 percent
I blame the defense for all the losses. Non-existent. Defensive coordinator, maybe?
Fire pos Staley
1000 percent on eberflus
Jets are wasting Zach Wilson lmao!!!
Clearly Colin doesn’t watch bears games if he put it at 50/50
STALEY SHOULD'VE BEEN FIRED THE MOMENT HE WENT FOR A WIN INSTEAD OF A TIE THAT WOULD'VE PUT THEM AND THE RAIDERS IN THE PLAYOFFS
Herbert is tall.
LET'S GO DETROIT LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man saleh to the chargers would be amazing
Cant believe he still have a job, may as well fire him now, tank and get a higher pick
Coach and offensive scheme plus bad drafting. This team isn't elite in either side offense or defense. I will fire coach, coordinators and GM. If they want to be good with Herbert
Staley every day and twice on Sundays
This segment is dumb without mentioning the O-Line, especially with the Giants.
Fire Staley NOW!!!!!
Okay so it should be 0. Herber is 19-5 TD to Int and 2700 Yards. I'm sick of people trying to play him dudes balling Staley is just horrible
How is Herbert even 5%? 0%
J Mac is the worst co host of all time
Colin Cowherd said Kellen Moore Chargers will be better than Dallas
Offense is fine.
The offense is better. The defense is not even in the same league.
@@parkerbyrd321 The chargers are the chargers.
Justin Herbert is a great QB. He deserves a share of blame for the blown playoff lead but that’s about it. Brandon Staley is completely holding the Charger’s back, last year they lucked out with an easy schedule.
Had 3 suited receivers and no Oline that game.
@@codywirth8190and a non-existent run game.
Stayley shouldn’t have a job
Herbert was a big waste of money
The o-line for the bills I am pretty sure are top 10 position group they were ranked at this point in the year…..so I don’t really get some of Colin’s points
The Chargers have an all pro at every level of the defense and they still got torched by my Lions. Penei Sewell dominated Bosa and Mack. I would be happy with just Derwin James on my team
There has been a couple games where Herbert didn’t drive down the field to win the game. That comes with being a quarterback, especially when we consider him elite. However, Staley has coached one of the worst defenses in each of the past three season, it’s on him. If you ask for a percentage, I would say 80% Staley, 15% Herbert, and 5% injuries.
F outta here. Try 1% Herbert.
They'd have won the game if Herbert's star receiver didn't drop a ball on the goal line that HIT HIM IN THE CHEST. In another case, a young receiver, no all star yet (if he'll ever be) dropped a perfectly thrown ball that hit him all over. Still, based on talent alone, they should be doing much better than they are and they should have been able to put the Packers away pretty easily. This GB team is mediocre at best. These drops should have been mere annoyances, not game changing mistakes.
Injuries waaaaay more than 5% and way more than Herbert.
That was early on in the season and it was blown blocking assignments, guys lost and lining up wrong; just a complete offensive meltdown. He was part of it, but It was a brand new offense and the team was lost as a whole including Moore’s coaching . As he’s gotten more accustomed with offense(& Moore more accustomed to team) late games haven’t been an issue with both last we3k vs Detroit & yesterday them scoring or having a dropped catch away from scoring. The blocking still wasn’t great but he got out of the pocket and threw a great ball. I think an aspect which I do think he’s been lacking, leadership, is starting to change; you see him starting to get visibly angry & being more emotive & assertive out there, not just being the stoic good soldier
@@codywirth8190So it's Staley's fault that Herbert has the second most turnovers when the game is on the line in the 4th quarter right? Sure, Staley needs to go because he can't coach a defense, but you also have to acknowledge who Herbert is. He's a really talented qb that usually plays 45 minutes of football per game instead of 60. You can't play great for 3 quarters and then fall apart in the final one.
What a dumb comment, this side kick, the bears need harbaugh, please man harbaugh will lose as well
And the excuses for QB Herbert begins in 5, 4, 3, 2..... It's pathetic how the sports media is literally protecting QB Justin Herbert and QB Josh Allen.
but when Lamar loses the game for his team you'll flood the excuses....
They’re the 2 most talented QB’s in the NFL, to suggest otherwise is to admit you have a bias.
evidently you don't follow the chargers otherwise you'd understand the issues run much deeper than a QB win-loss record
Nobody gets more excuses made for them than Herbert. A great QB carries
And great QBs catch their own passes! Oh wait Herbert does that lmaooo
@@Ill06Taco one game. Everybody deals with drops. Everybody isn’t gifted a 24 point lead in the playoffs tho
Mahomes should have carried his team to victory last night against the eagles. A great qb carries
@@nicpayne8258 agreed
This guy gets passes all day by the “media” and hasnt done s h i e t since being in the league. Yet the experts think Purdy is still in question? Lmao
Justin Herbert has been solid for my fantasy football team
If anyone gets Harbaugh it should be the Chargers.
Gaye Mack is better that Joi Tailor but not saying much
The golden boy Herbert is now 4-7. Name a big game he’s ever won. . . For a 250+ million dollar quarterback
Herbert is not a closer stop giving him excuses. When Lamar gets drops he has to deal with it. When allen and herbert get drops we blame the coach LMAO
FACTS!! LOL💯 He has a pro bowl RB and Keenan Allen who is a top 10 WR.
I hate Brandon Staley
Herbert does make some very questionable and costly poor decisions at the end of games.
not a chance lmfao...
Do you watch chargers games? Herbert does everything for the team. They can’t run the ball so everything is on Herbert’s shoulders. He has had some games where he wasn’t great, but every game this year has come down to Herbert needing to win it.
It's amazing how many people comment on players or teams they never actually watch.
How can you blame Justin he’s been playing hurt
Good report. Report this sometimes; your head coach he build a winning franchise with a good culture you have your quarterback do you have a open shift coordinator Cruz young innovative and you have a decent defensive coordinator that is stopping the other team. You go to the NFC championship game even win a Super Bowl then the other owners hi everybody away so they take players with them so now what you took as a head coach the bill 2345 years you win and the other owners take all your pieces. Then you guys sit around and blame the coach for winning and then losing but they were dismantled. Seems to me the NFL is destroying its own product. And you cannot deny all the videos out there of the NFL being a purely entertainment neither a sports or a competitive game. It’s strictly entertainment yeah Williams is being gambled. What does everybody jobs
I think Herbert is super overrated and if he was any other quarter back and even a black quarterback he’d be getting crushed every week.
The Bears should trade Justin Fields, draft Caleb Williams, hire Lincoln Riley and bring back Lovie Smith or Vic Fangio for DC
No
@@maxkaiser819 Sadly, I can only give your short comment a single thumbs up. I'd like to give it a few dozen more.
