Hello from Colorado. Love our Sunday mornings together. (It’s morning here). Thanks for these meal ideas. Why is it that you make meals seem so simple and I feel like it’s all so complicated ? Thanks for spending the time showing us how all your ideas come together.
Breaded chicken goes so well with a nice creamy mushroom sauce. I make it regularly. I hammer out the chicken, coat it in panko breadcumbs (which I season with Old Bay seasoning, black pepper, salt and onion powder), then I shallow fry it in ghee. I serve it with sautéd potatoes and petits pois. Simple and ready in no time.
Made mince this week, never thought of topping with puff pastry. Love your post. Miss hearing my mum’s voice. I now live in Midthothian Va love this area as they have many Scottish names.

Hi Cheryl, it’s only me - I hope you’re okay and keeping well. I absolutely love Sunday nights because I know your video is on - that’s one thing I really miss about being disabled and in a rehabilitation centre is having my own kitchen and being able to plan meals and cook ~ this week has been a good week. My wheelchair has got to go back on Tuesday to have some things fixed on it. ~ another great week with some great food thank you so much Cheryl for all your hard work ~ sending loads of love and loads of hugs ~ Xxx Xxx

I've got to make your recipe for the square sausage and try the stew.. Love ya.
Ooh some of my favourites this week Cheryl. A recent favourite is the Tuscan chicken. I love it with heaps of fragrant freshly torn basil leaves. Have to make it again this week now!

I know you said it was just something you put together but I’d love at least a list of ingredients & how you incorporated them! I have the ingredients in my refrigerator now to make the Tuscan chicken which I will probably do next weekend!
Garlic bread very common in the States with pasta Cheryl,just no chips,and pasta😮I don’t know why but I have never liked mince,so I would always make good butchers mince into a hamburger,nothing in it just meat,cooked medium,one of my favorite things.😊
Hi Cheryl! Delicious meals as ever. I have made your Lorne sausage slow cooker stew. It was delicious. We had to order the sausage from another state that had a Scottish shop. I recently saw a video with a Scottish dish called Rumbledethump, have you ever heard of it?
As soon as I saw Mince & Tatties I said "No! Don't make it with peas... I hate Tatties, Mince & Peas!" LOL That was one of my Daddy's all-time favourite meals to make and eat. Maybe if he had bribed me with a puff pastry like you did then I might have been a little happier to eat that. My Mom used to tease me that we were having stewed bugs & onions for dinner when he would make that and I always said that I would have rather had that LOL. To this day (she's been gone since 2002 & he's been gone since 2013) I still don't even want to think about Tatties, Mince & Peas! Tatties & Sweetlet (soft, young) peas or Tatties & Mushy Peas but I'll take a pass on the Mince & Onion thank you! Thank you, Cheryl, for another great food video! Despite all my griping - I really do enjoy seeing What's For Tea! Heather xo
Why do you put a chicken breast or fish on top of salads? Not only will the salad make the hot food go cold but the hot food will make the salad go hot! It's being too fancy, just put the salad on the side darl.
