People used to call Ordos a ghost city years ago, but now, it's actually a beautiful modern city.
Lee cut his choking bit short. He was sputtering and choking for like 5 minutes! I thought I was going to be fireman carrying him to the nearest hospital.
That really was a serious choking event...

Wow such a nice city in the middle of the deserts. And yet it looks so green, no trace of a barren desert.
And so vast the land and living space for the people.
The infrastructures everywhere look great, more like a developed country rather than a developing country.
I'm afraid when China is getting more prosperous and developed, more and more people from around the world would flock to China to have a taste of good life here. Then we would have to add one more ethnic group to the existing 56 ethnic groups in China - the Laowai ethnic group as part of China's big family.

Each ethnic minority has representation in China’s congress, no matter how small the population. You can’t say that about the Sioux, Navaho, native Hawaiians...

Yes 56 ethnic groups. Bet many people didn’t know that.
My family bought stamps. The 1997 or 1999 or sth year edition has a page of 56 stamps educating the people on each one of the ethnic groups and their symbolic costumes and musical instruments. A material very useful when I teach.
Look at all the GHOSTS in this world famous Chinese GHOSTS town, called Ordos.
Would have never guessed Matt has a fear of heights.
