I wonder if they had a brace on the front with UHMW instead of being open if that would help with the movement. Also, same thoughts on the plate loaded attachment and is one of the reasons I got rid of it. It's literally the RML attachment with just a 1" hole instead.
Definitely possible...this current design reminds me of the matador (which pretty much has the same path of play but obviously doesn't since you are pressing down with your body weight during movements)...As far as the plate attachment... you're absolutely correct...it genuinely seems as though Rogue just neglected to even release the Monster version (repurposed the ML attachment instead)....I'm seriously hoping they re-release/update it in the near future.....then again...I'm not sure I'd wanna pay another $150+ for a new one!! Lol
Thanks Matt. I wanted to mention for Monster Lite racks, the seat can only go on the bottom. The Monster racks have 1" holes all the way up/down but the Lite version only has holes every 6" on the sides. The seat requires 9" spacing for 5/8" holes and the only way to get that is on the bottom. Just a caution for anyone with Lite racks.
Yeah I think they have a low pulling coming for it and a swivel pulling coming soon. They have some of that stuff on the personalized home rack they made for Matt Frazer.
I figured something had to be in the works for sure. A drop in pulley and a roller for the rear (to keep the cable off the seat when doing standing curls or whatever)... there's holes in this attachment for both!
You can purchase a plastic shim ( there green ) from home Depot and slide it between the seer bracket and the red tube of your rack and it will remove the play for when you perform The movement
I personally leave mine on the upright only because I have a dedicated section with a weight stack for mine, plus it's pretty heavy/cumbersome to move around IMO (just easier to leave it in one place if possible)

@@VictorPalmieri yes and no....lol....the reason I say that is because this attachment was designed to fit slightly loose on the upright to easily allow it to be installed/removed.... once in place, there's about 1/8 inch gap between the side of the upright and the UHMW plastic....you would essentially have to torque bolts down in order to close that gap...(i don't think you'd ever be able to hand tighten the knurled nut enough to accomplish this since the frame is made of 1/4 inch steel...definitely have to use some longer handled tools to get some leverage to attempt it!!)....while this would obviously cause it to squeeze the upright and hold the unit much much tighter in place if you did decide to torque it.....you could risk permanently bending in the rack connection point on the seat frame (which could potentially cause issues overall as the unit clearly wasn't designed to be bolted on).....I may be totally wrong!!...lol...but that's my thought process anyways

So what I ended doing is extending my rack to make it permanent Simply extended it with the 30” cross members side ways and of course two more 90” uprights so easentially a small rack lol I dont want to have to remove it every work out

I briefly looked into purchasing a single upright to basically do something similar-ish... however I was told by Rogue that they only sell them in pairs (which would occupy more space than I currently have at the moment!!)...so I ended up scratching that idea for now.... definitely jealous of what you have going on over there!! Lol

Lol... while I did consider going more in depth into those aspects of the set up, I ultimately chose not to simply because there are so many different factors to consider.....ROM really depends on how tall you and your rack are (obviously people vary in height and arm length plus Rogue offers three different rack height options plus custom upright lengths)...and depends on where you decide to mount the seat on the upright ( you can go as low as your rack will allow or as high as you need to)....for me (I'm 5'11" with a 90" rack) this set up works best at the 4th/7th hole set up shown in the video... hopefully this helps!
I've actually seen quite a few of your videos...I'm a fan of your half rack..(especially like that you opted for straight crossmembers rather than the standard angled).... very nice!

I couldnt find any info or pictures, do you have a link? If they are going to do a Slinger 2.0 with a swivel I'd just wait for that myself...
You could have a machine shop make larger pins to compensate for the movement; provided that the holes in the seat are the same 5/8 holes in the rack.
That and maybe some thicker UHMW inserts would reduce/eliminate most the wobble!
