Can't believe you did a cover of Metro. I thought nobody but me knows the band. It's one of my favourite bands and the forerunner of the two Duncan Browne records "The Wild Places" and "Streets of Fire", which I love to bits. Thank you Guys
And there is an excellent 2-CD release (called "Planet Earth") still in print containing the original Metro album plus those two magnificent Duncan Browne records - and a stack of singles and outtakes. Bliss. Duncan Browne was a giant; tragic that he died so young. Criminal that he is so unknown. Kudos to FoF for this superb, and loving, cover.
@@AngryCalvinPink Floyd and Tears for Fears are great bands that also have a unique sound, there are millions of great tracks out there but not all of them have that extra sparkle like F.O.F.
Brilliant version of an absolute classic track. Fabulous Peter Godwin song with Duncan Browne’s arrangements handled so well. I believe the original rhythm section was Simon Phillips and John Giblin? Great to hear Nick and Marcus’ take. Will there be some gigs in the near future? Fabulous ❤

@@FishonFridayBand j'ai pu écouté l'album via YT. Il y a plein de réminiscence, Alan Parson, Barclay James Harvest, Camel ... Mon morceau fétiche reste cette reprise et son final puissamment orchestré. Le jeu en slide du gratteux me rappelle un peu la steel guitar de Steve Howe parfois. Faut que je réécoute encore comme tous ces morceaux Prog qui dévoilent leur arôme après maintes écoutes. Un bon album que je prendrai prochainement. 👌👌🎶🎵🎸

When you want to play a cover, this is a great pick. And yes, you nailed this track. Can't help it, but it's incredible well played. Especially the all the finesses in the original track are played so well. Also great choice to put the drums on the ceiling. That's the place all drummers should be isolated to. 🙂

They always remind me of Pink Floyd meets Tears for Fears. Lot’s of Jazz, Prog Pop, vocal melodies . Unique and great quality music.
