Im a little late to the party, having just discovered Nick Beggs when he toured with Steven Wilson. And then once I started to fo a deep dive into Nick Beggs stuff (he has been a busy musician for years!), I recently discovered Fish On Friday. I love the new album 8mm! And I'm impressed by Frank's new studio (I've never seen a drummer separated from a group like that in the loft!). This interview was great- but now I really want to know if Nick was nude when recording some of the songs like it was mentioned at the end of the interview LOL!
Great interview or band talk! It gave me some background information on you guys. If there is one band that I would really see live, it's FOF! But as Frank said, it must not cost his house, studio, pension etc. And yes, this bastard is going to listen to "8mm", pre ordered it at a local reseller in the Netherlands. Wish you all the best with the promotion.
Lovin the music and great interview, but one question; why did Marcus have one foot up on the table resting on the keyboard? Hint: you might want to position your mikes a little better next time😅. Looking forward to getting the new album (and your back catalogue too in the near future).
