I'm honestly convinced they took some inspiration from Armstrong when thinking up Shido conceptually.

And the first thing that came to my mind during Shido's fight... Armstrong's rip-off.
There's a big problem with the comparison: Goro is a manipulative, power-hungry bastard who kills anyone who gets in his way, just to get into power, and is a self-righteous, pompous asshole. Armstrong, on the other hand, did what he did to do what he thought was right, and absolutely *loathes* politicians like Goro.
You think after many deaths in the game,no one would be dumb enough try to play daredevil and be inconsiderate, but sadly Ryuji is comic relief after all.
My heart literally almost stopped when I saw Ryuji get caught in the explosion. I thought he really died but then I heard his voice and I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Sheesh you had a way easier time with this fight then I did. Maybe it's cause my team was morgana ryuji and Yusuke, my only maxed out persona users being ryuji and futaba xD, but still it's always fun watching you come in and whip bosses that fucked me up. But yeah I gotta agree, while Akechi is my favorite boss story wise, this is my favorite boss for the feeling of finality and closure (until mementos rears its ugly head later for more closure in a way I guess.). Plus I mean, come on, dat MUSIC XD great works as always dude!

Sheesh you had a way easier time with this fight then I did. Maybe it's cause my team was morgana ryuji and Yusuke, my only maxed out persona users being ryuji and futaba xD, but still it's always fun watching you come in and whip bosses that fucked me up. But yeah I gotta agree, while Akechi is my favorite boss story wise, this is my favorite boss for the feeling of finality and closure (until mementos rears its ugly head later for more closure in a way I guess.). Plus I mean, come on, dat MUSIC XD great works as always dude!
