Spice melange looks awesome. I love the burst on the fretboard and the amber to brown burst on the body. Black limba, Honduras mahogany, flame maple, and a spalted maple top... a smorgasbord of tone woods!
The new finishes for the JP15 are beautiful but I'd have an ebony fretboard and a finished neck (like the JPXI). The new majesty finishes are kind of meh. The 2019 colours have been the best for me. It'd be cool to revisit the original 2014 satin finishes and the Artisans.
Shame they stopped production on the JPXI. I was gonna pull the trigger and order a JPXI-7 new. That model and the silver JP13 were IMO the nicest looking JP models ever made
I tried a sterling jp150D in guitar center and I loved it, the only think that I’m not crazy about is that there are only 2 finishes for that model, it would me awesome if sterling came out with more colors for that guitar, I’d love to see it in blue with a flamed top
i can see the finishes but can you tell me about the pickups and how they compare in sounds quality to the other lines. Since JP changes them every 3 days LOL
Those shield top paint jobs are so tacky. Those poor 8 strings are completely ruined by them . I’m positive guitars without that ugly two tone would sell better.
You know Gibson started using rich lite instead of Ebony on Les Paul Customs and sales fell off a cliff and people started buying more PRS because they value quality . You guys are foolish for using Okoume and charging $3500+ for a guitar.
Most of the sound comes from pickups and playing skill, a $500-$1000 USD guitar is more then enough. I have 2 guitars that I have changed wiring and pickups and I agree that you can get them to sound great, I also have a JP11 and a JP15 and they sound great, sometimes I see them and I want to play them so for me if the guitar is beautiful it's a plus
i’ll just say it: signatures and band logos on instruments are not cool, it kind of makes them look cheap and very childish. This guitars even have two of them, one on the headstock and one on the back. That’s really overboard. Too bad cuz they look fantastic otherwise.
