It was cool, as a kid, to see a MOW / Speeder come down the tracks. A few years ago I saw a high-railer being put on the tracks. It was a much more complex procedure than I imagined.
Sign me up for a ride. That would be awesome to ride the rails at a slower speed with a open cab. Once again another great video. Can’t wait for the next video.
It kinda looks like a glimpse into an alternate universe where the automotive industry flopped completely, and people just drove these speeders on a much denser railroad system. Imagine seeing houses with railways instead of driveways
Couple friends have Southern , NW , Clinchfield , Seaboard , motorcars . I've yet but one due price and maintence cost and time keeping it around house plus trailer not cheap buy it's some cost own and operate . Great video .
They also do this some times at the Mineral Bluff Depot on the old Southern Murphy Branch they done it back in July around the 2nd I went and they had a BRSR motor car and a handcar it was fun
Cool! I was looking around earlier trying to find your finished product - it's really great. Very different style than mine - great looking footage. I notice I make a couple "cameos" by accidently walking into your shot a couple times - sorry! Again - great job.

I had to chuckle when I saw the young lady (just before the 4:00 mark) playing with her phone during what would likely be a once-in-a-lifetime ride.
This is gonna be a future hobby for sure.
This was both Very Cool and Very Interesting. I can see why there would be so much Interest. 👍
A K5HA on a speeder? Doesn't make much sense but still very cool to say the least!

Thankful you referred to them as Motor Cars. I’m off the N&W side of NS and no one here has ever called them a speeder.

Thanks Rob! I enjoyed your video as well. I like the humor you add in.
My mom used to call these MOW speeders "Putt Putts".
I feel like I'm a student in v12 class
