I've been using Moment Lenses since 2018 now. I can't have my phone and not have my lenses along with me. I literally carry them everywhere I go. I only use the wide and macro lenses though. Love using these kind of lenses.
The most compelling Reeflex lens in their new "240" as what the iPhone currently lacks is a real telephoto…which is the only thing that prevents me from leaving my mirrorless camera at home when I travel.
I’ve posed this question several times on different channels with no response so far. So, I will give it a shot here. Regarding the ReeFlex app, do these lenses work well with other apps, say, Halide or ProCam? I have attempted to make use of the Ree suite of apps, with no success, constant crashing, overheating, and inability to delete images. So, anyone using the Ree lenses with other apps, please chime in.
@@cameraman655 it works with Blackmagic camera app, Final Cut app, and the basic app just fine for me. I’m a videographer not much a photographer. I hope that helps. Are you using iPhone?
My answer to the question posed in the title of this video is an emphatic NO. I am a sucker for buying accessories for my iPhone photography so have a full set of these small fiddly lenses (different brand) which I regret buying. With the latest iPhones the difference in quality of the images obtained with add on lenses is very minimal and quite subjective, and is completely outweighed by the hassle of having to carry them around and stand there fiddling around getting them out of the case, taking care not to smudge the lenses or drop them. I tend to mainly take still photos rather than videos so I will have to exclude the anamorphic lenses from my view as there is probably some utility in using these for taking videos. I am also going to say that I have backed the Kickstarter campaign for the forthcoming Reeflex 240mm telephoto + macro lenses as I am really hoping this lens may finally tip the balance in favour of carrying an additional lens around. I would really like more zoom power for my iPhone.
I would love to get the Kickstarter but after testing my iPhone 16 pro max, I don't think it's worth it. The 5x zoom 120mm lens itself is not very good. However, Apple combines it with the 24mm and using their software, the image is really good. I tried by covering the 24mm lens and saw the image quality drop off a lot. Using the 240mm, you only increase the optics of the 120mm lens and is probably not good. Watching the KS video carefully, the Big Ben image is enhanced a lot post processing.
@ I am not sure what you mean here. If you are using the iPhone 5x lens to take a photo of a subject in the distance, how is Apple using the 24mm at the same time to supplement the quality of the resultant photo? I would have thought an optical zoom to 10x would give a better picture than the 24mm digitally zoomed to 10x but time will tell. I will reserve my judgement until I receive the 240mm lens because all the reviews currently on UA-cam appear to be commissioned ones, so you can never be too sure how trustworthy the reviews are.
@@themilesmeyer it sounds like you are brick walling your low ends, try to have your high pass end 70-80, anythiing after 80 you lose too much information, especially for your voice which is pretty mid range. If there's too much low end after that, simply duck a band near 70-80 a little bit, it will sound good!
Bro at least put some effort, it's just your face the whole video, it's a video about lenses show some extra footage you didn't even show any kind of photos taken with any of the lenses and you didn't leave your house to make a lens review

Do you think these are better than the moment lenses? I’m trying to decide between the 2.
I haven’t tried the moment 2 lenses yet so I can’t give that feedback, but I haven’t been disappointed with these!
what mic r u using
not a good one
How much is that whole package cost?
Great review. I suggest you to edit your vocal eq. High frequencies very pronounced and ear piercings.
can you suggest a video to learn better eq?
