Don’t think the Dodgers are going to extend his deal after the current one expires. I expect him to go into the HOF as a brave but appreciate the years he’s given us.
2 more championships plus, let's say, if he resigns with the Dodgers for 2 more years after the current contract is finished, and it will be very difficult for the HOF to ignore the LAD role in Freddie's resumé.
@Jeff, I was wondering how much it might cost to bring Treinen back. The Red Sox just paid Aroldis Chapman $10.75 M. He's 36 like Treinen, and Treinen had a better year than Chapman (1.4 WAR vs. 0.4, plus great postseason). I think Treinen gets $15 M easily on the open market, if he's willing to bounce around from team to team like Chapman.
We did two ads in 34 minutes plus a little bit of promoting the network. Sorry your 28 minutes of free content took 34 minutes for you to listen to (plus whatever time it took to complain in the comments). Send me your credit card number with expiration and cvv and I'll issue a refund.
No need for hope! You can tell it's free because you watched it on UA-cam and you have at least a basic grasp of how the internet works! What a great day this is for you!
If the decision isnt his to be made then he would probably have to play with the Dodgers through his age 40 season (5 more total) and at a high level through his age 39 season (4 more). Plus win 3 titles total with the Dodgers. That would be 8 seasons 7 elite 3 titles 1 world series MVP. I think that beats 11 seasons 8 elite 1 title and a 60 game MVP. If he somehow gets a second World Series MVP then that should be the clincher
Clayton Chokeshaw - One of the best regular season Major league baseball pitchers of all time, one of the worst postseason pictures of all time. A pitching conundrum.
As a Dodgers fan, I think he should go in as a Brave. That's where he made his reputation and built a hall of fame career.
I agree but you have to factor in the drama at the end of his stay with the Braves… makes it a little interesting
@@karlosrules It does.

Freddie played 12 years with the Braves. He signed a 6 year contract with the Dodgers. He will go into the HOF as a Brave.

Bring back Treinen and sign Tanner Scott and you have a lights out bullpen.
