Thank you so much for taking the time to show the world your video😀. My daughter has thigh length curly hair and sometimes she wants to wear it straight- you’ve given me the recipe to straighten without heat damage and I really appreciate that. Please post more videos on maintenance, curly hairstyles, straight hairstyles etc.
Thank you for taking the time out to show how you style your hair. My hair is about the same, length, but hasn’t grown any longer in a while. And that is because I am not using blue magic like I used to in the beginning. Listening to other UA-camrs not moisturizing my hair like I should. You brought it back to the basics, and me and my hair appreciate you. You are beautiful, and your hair is absolutely amazing. Thanks Sis ❤❤❤
I have 3b curls but I feel like this will work well for me too. I had no idea there was such thing as a comb attachment for a blowdryer so I'm immediately gong to Amazon. Thanks so much!!!
Wow your hair is so pretty both ways. I don’t know how you manage to get it so straight. I do not have your same hair type at all, but I have stubborn waves at my roots in the back, underneath which are so frustrating because I just cannot get them out after blow drying with a brush and a flat iron. I do not use any products except a blow dry protectant… It will look sufficiently straight at first, but after two hours, it separates in the back middle and you can see the waves that have reformed there. It is especially frustrating because I spend so much time blowing and straightening, only to have waves reform in a couple of hours! I wonder if anyone may have any suggestions for me to do differently, or a different straightener, temperature (usually about 245), or other tools, or products to try. I am Caucasian and have medium to fine long hair that is chemically processed with base colour and highlights and lowlights. Thanks in advance for any tips.
Yes honestly the type of straightener you have is very important. You have to get one that gets hot enough to handle very thick hair! The products just make my hair less frizzy & lasts longer
@@kaylove3354 also what is very important is the moisture In your hair. When you walk out side the environment will take your moisture from your hair , and leave it frizzy and dry. Try a deep conditioner to get that moisture in. I use a product called 4 naturals , heat protection. It's bomb. I found it on amazon.
Great video. Love your approach to your hair. Gorgeous results and keeping the heat off of your hair for long periods of time helps. The products are nice and affordable.
My hair was so dry back then. Before I would get my hair straighten, my mom would oil my scalp and every single strand of hair on my head, wrap it with plastic wrap and a bandana, and leave it in over night. Then in the morning I would wash my hair and condition it. After that whole process she would blow dry and straighten it. It would come out smooth and looked hydrated.
Thank you ☺️ & I believe 400 bc I think the max is 425 but it only has a dial of 1-30. I had it for so long that forgot what the actual temperature is but definitely in the 400s 😂
I'm super late but your hair is BEAUTIMOUS! New subcriber :D Do you ever get any heat damage? I'm terrified of heat damage as I have gone to a hairdresser who kinda just willy-nilly put heat protectant lightly through my hair and I got a few strands of heat damage. Do you not use any leave-in before you flat iron?
Thank you!! 😁 & welcome! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🥰 i usually don’t get heat damage bc I don’t put heat on my hair everyday when it’s straight. I usually straighten it that one time then wrap it every night so i don’t have to put the flat iron to it. If my roots get a little curly I’ll re do it but that’s it. The more times I put the flat iron on my hair the more it’s gonna cause straight pieces after it’s washed!
D@m., you're pretty, and have good grade of hair on your head, At first first I thought you lose your mind putting straight to it, but I see you do know your skills, take care and stay well...Peace!!
Mine used to do that too but you have to find products that work for you. Sometimes it helps if you apply a light oil or nourishing grease to my scalp at night then wrap my hair & those oils calm the frizz down
with this particular flat iron what setting heat did you use cause i know it goes from 5-30. i’ve seen this flat iron before and thought about getting it but i wasn’t too sure about it
I have a 7 year old and I use the Rev Air dryer/straightener. I don't want to use the flat iron on her hair yet. Do you think it would be possible to get that silky straightened look WITHOUT the flat iron, if I use the products mentioned in this video? Also her hair is 3C on the mixed side.
I think if you blow dry it really well like take small sections & use a round bristle brush to really straighten it, that should work. Just make sure you wrap her hair around then put a silk wrap on it at night and that should smooth it out more
my hair never straightens like even when i went it always gets frizzy like i do it and it looks nice then the next day even when i sleep with it up with the cap it ends up curling at the bottom and i rlly hate it i don’t know what’s wrong with my hair and it doesn’t curl with an curling iron either and i have curly hair. any tips?
Some good tips I recommend are making sure your hair is clarified (it needs to be squeaky clean), deep conditioned & dry it as straight as you can with the blow dryer (Use a good heat protectant) & make sure your flat iron is hot enough (but not too hot to cause heat damage!). Wrap your hair around your head when you're done straightening it & use plastic wrap or a shower cap & sit under a dryer on COOL air for about 10-15 mins.. I usually straighten my hair before bed & use a satin scarf (NO COTTON!) to keep it wrapped while I sleep & in the morning it's soooo silky & bouncy!
I would wrap my hair around my head (I know sounds funny and looks a little funny but we do what we need to for our hair) and I Bobby pin around to keep in place and then wrap my head with a silk scarf. Keeps it straight, never had a curling issue and never really had an issue with indentation from the pins. Its been so long since I've straightened my hair. Wanna try this week!
Not for me bc I only put the flat iron to my hair the first time then all the other days I just wrap my hair & touch up here & there. People burn it bc they flat iron it everyday instead of just wrapping their hair

Is that all the stuff you use to get it like that?? I’ve been straight if my hair for years and never looked like this it’s so frizzy and thick!!

for a minimum amount of damage, you should only pass through your hair with the flat iron once.
Yes if your hair straightens fast. Not everyones does 🙂
Beautiful results! How long does it take you to blow dry your hair and how long to flat iron?
I’m gonna try these products. I have a similar hair type to yours but my hair never comes out as good as yours 🙃 thanks for the video 🧡
