2 for 22: Episode 5 - Green Day "Brain Stew" into "Jaded"

Footnotes:
1 - By time I got to this cover, I had been playing for nearly an hour (other covers have come from this session: another Yellowcard 2/22 episode, Allister and some that haven't been released, yet), so I needed to double check my two cell phone cameras were still good to go, as it were.
2 - R.I.P. sweat towel.
3 - W/r/t footnote #1: "I have to pee."
4 - It is common and standard practice for me to not censor things. Thus, I'll take whatever algorithm hit for not using a non-cuss-word (gross) version of the song.
5 - I practiced this particular song assiduously. Songs like these - with very little "noise" in between notes - are very difficult to emulate and do so cleanly. So, as is usually the case with many of my covers, there are little mistakes where it's slightly off. But the vibe (I hope) is there, so I leave it. I can be a perfectionist about other things, but not about trying to play in the mental, emotional and physical state that Tre Cool was over 20 years ago in a studio.
6 - It has come to my attention that my arm movements across the plates in this section is very Portnoyian. Say what you want about Mike Portnoy, he generally has a good handle on moving across a kit - especially from one end to the other.*
*Author's Note: it should be noted that I did grow up (drumming-wise) with Mike Portnoy's "Liquid Drum Theatre" VHS tape (yes, I'm that old) during my mid-to-late high school years. It would make sense that some of his movements would ultimately find their way into my own movement.
7 - I think, and by all means fact check me, this is the fastest song I've ever done a cover of.
