@babahadjimohamed9339 It seems most people who are commenting have no idea what they are talking about. It is a 3 volume series. They grouped all Meccan suraat and all Medina suraat. Nothing was left out. Although I don't like this concept, I looked into it before addressing it.
The only issue with this is: It's being advertised as Qur'an. It shouldn't. It should be advertised as an independent book simply explaining/teaching which Surahs came first and why, what times, etc.
But it is the Holy Qur’an since it contains all the verses from it. It should be called something else of course. The Quran in Chronological order, or something along those lines.
And this is why the Quran is preserved in its original language AND via memorisation. Something that'll last till the hour comes. May Allah guide us all. Ameen

I prefer sticking to the Quran my family got *for free* in Makkah. It has all the Surah in the order established by the companions of the Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon him) 1400+ years ago.

@@muhammad_al_ayyubi I have never been here myself yet, but when members of my family went for Hajj or 'Umrah they came back with the Quran, it is fully in Arabic, I don't know if they also give Quran with translation. I believe it is a project funded and started by King Faysal (the previous king of Sa'udi Arabia) as a Sadaqah. Maybe when your parents go there they can ask people working there where to get a copy of the Quran. You can also look online maybe they have a website or maybe someone who has already gone there explains what to do. I hope these infos helps. May Allah forgive them and accept their 'Umrah.
The Quran needs to maintained as it was revealed to the Prophet (PBUH). Must have the same order, preferably in arabic and english. None of us are authorized to change this.

It's not a change to anything, just presenting the results in a practical way for an English-speaking audience. Maybe you have no interest in the chronological order of revelation, but it is of much scholarly interest. The idea that this is some "new Qur'an" seems to me to be simply wrong, and this idea is the only thing that people take issue with. If they didn't have this idea (that they hold for some reason), there's nothing objectionable to reading surahs out of published order. How many children learn the last surah long before the second? Etc.
@@abdullahinoor3972 The only objectionable thing here is the concept that it is a "new Qur'an". But this concept is false, as it is not meant to be a "new Qur'an". People read the surahs out of order all the time (ie how many children can recite by heart the last 3 surahs before ever reading the first three?), and the order of revelation is of great value. There are a lot of works concerning the order of revelation as a matter of study, and it can be complicated and difficult for non-Arabic speakers to know which order is correct or appropriate. So publishing what research shows to be the correct chronological order in English is of value, especially being that it is formatted in this way as opposed to just saying, "Chapter such and such was revealed at so and so time". The only really bad thing is this idea that he is trying to publish a "new Qur'an", but this concept is just not true as to what's happening. As if to push against this idea, it doesn't even contain the Medinan surahs!
Tbh the one who is making problem is the one who promoting and saying "new Quran".. Marketing team in every business is always bunch people who need to be taught the limit of making statement.. I have a book of tafsir that only includes the 30th juz surahs. It's marketed as a short tafsir book, not Qur'an. I think it helped me memorize and have better understanding of the short surahs. Maybe it would be better if they marketed and titled the book as tafsir of Makkan surahs in historical order, since it only consists of Makkan surahs. I think that would work just fine!
A book of Tafseer of the 30th Juz is much different than someone marketing something as the new Quran which has no explanation in it and includes only Makki surahs.
That's what people used to say in the 70s or so just because people weren't as modest. Subhanallah the world today is alot worse with sexual deviance, lies everywhere, and murder so common. It's just wrong. And your totally right I was just thinking "bro we have tafsir". People are saying oh it's good for reverts. What?? The sahabas were reverts and later they didn't need to give mekkan surahs only Qurans to the new peoples who were non Arabs who became Muslims. Correct me if I'm wrong, The madani surahs (you know the ones that are omitted from Mufti Menk's book) are the surahs that address people of the book i.e Jews and Christians. In those surahs we find out how jews killed prophets, how they were blasphemous again and again, and especially how madina's jews were dishonest and deceitful, how they tried to poison, murder prophet Muhammad صلى اللّه عليه و سلم So are we ought to think it's just a coincidence and that the book is just an honest mistake made with pure intentions? I am a revert and until this video I thought it was an “English Quran”. I would have bought it and NOT known there were missing Surahs or that it was out of order. (Unless I had researched the website and read all the “warnings”). I listen to Mufti Menks lectures and seeing him promote this had me excited for something “new”. It is strange to me that 1. It says “Quran” on the cover and in promotion when, in fact, it is NOT a Quran and 2. That anything promoted by a Sheikh, Mufti, etc. needs to come with warnings and further explanation as to why it is not something false or haram. This could have been another beautifully translated Quran, OR could have been another book explaining the Meccan surahs and NOT been promoted as a Quran.
Suppose they have good intention (be it for a complementary reading to learn the context and history chronologically or what not), considering the content, they could go with a title like "The Makkan Surahs in Order of Revelation" or if it's not just the Makkan, "Surahs from Qur'an in Order of Revelation", NOT calling it Qur'an in any way so it wouldn't mislead people to think it as the holy Qur'an. May Allah protect the ummah and grant them and us all taufeeq.

My sincere advice to you would be to avoid listening to speakers like menk, nouman khan, yasir qadi and those who associate with these kind of guys because they are known to water down Islam and promote only the aspects of Islam that will be accepted by the non Muslims. They will not talk or teach about the most important aspects of Islam like Tawheed, Aqida, The 5 daily prayers (how to perform them and the importance of them), importance Sunnah and staying away from innovations, etc. I know this may be a lot to take in and understand as a revert but try reflect on this. As a native Arabic who has a very high interest in this subject, I believe the translation of Dr. Mohammad Mahoud Ghali is the most accurate one. He spent about 13 years to finish the translation. You can find it with many others on the site of islamawakened. Dr. Ghali translation is used by many new translators as a reference. He was born in 1920 and past away may Allah reward him Jenna. Mufti Menk is not an Islamic scholar. I'm even reluctant to call him Sheikh at the very least. He is a Motivational Speaker. Don't take Serious Islamic Knowledge from Him unless he's telling you the obvious things, like Belief in Only Allah, 5 prayers. Him and his group of Westernized sheikhs are out to please the Disbelievers and misguide many. The prophet ( Peace Be Upon Him) said in. Hadith that what He Feared for Us more than the Trial of Dajjal is Speakers who will speak about Islam without knowledge and misguide many. ( Callers to the Hellfire) There is an organization of Islamic scholars and Menk is not one of them.

The only objection is the title and the branding this book got. The strongest opinion in the order of the surahs and ayaahs in Qur'an is that all of them has been directed by Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wassalam, like which ayaah included in which surah. I'm not sure the intention of this order of the Qur'an but I'm extremely skeptical on any other order of the Qur'an.
I think understand what Mufti Menk is trying to do. Basically if someone wants to learn when the surahs were revealed in chronological order. It's good for studying but I would not call it a Quran

Salam brothers and sisters. Correct me if I am wrong here but this book is being marketed as “Surahs as delivered chronologically to our Prophet (PBUH).” This is not The Qur’an (Divine Speech compiled and relayed to the Ummah as intended by our Prophet PBUH). This is just Surahs how they were chronologically delivered and can be considered of educational/supplementary value. It is by no means a standard and no one has claimed as such. It does have educational value and the intension of the Mufti to educate and not to profit. Allah (SWT) knows best. We are not the judges. Being critical and skeptical is alright and demanding that this book be named “Surahs of the Qur’an as delivered chronologically,” makes sense and should be arbitrated. Do not call this book the Qur’an though. Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) intent is the standard Qur’an we have and it is absolutely unchanging because Divine Speech survives the time and tide (what we humans call evolution/change).

The fact that anybody could possibly be confused by this just goes to show how uneducated we have become... It clearly says it's a book to learn about the mekkan surahs in the order they were revealed. Were the salaf confused because Allah revealed the Quran to them in this way? I know we are not the Salaf, but everyone knows the Quran was revealed out of order and if this book strives to educate us on that history and the way in which Allah subahanahu wa ta'ala revealed the Quran, then why not benefit from the book or just move on without having to refute the Sheikh for trying to educate the ummah just because you don't like the title or marketing of the book. In a couple of years, nobody will remember the marketing and it will just be a book to reference and anyone who has a brain and opens it will know it isn't a translation of the whole Quran or an official re-structuring of the Quran, but rather a tool to better understand the way in which the Quran was revealed before the Hijrah. Abubakr (RA) was afraid of compiling the Quran into a book form and was against it because it was not done during the life of the prophet (SAW), until he was advised by major companions like Umar and finally agreed to do it. Now we have people even going further and changing what those companions decided without any fear?

I’d love to know more details of how the Quran was revealed and organized bc that’s fascinating to me, including what surahs were revealed when during what part of prophets time pbuh. I think scholars fail to relate that to ordinary ppl. There’s not much out there and I think Muslims would be interested. But nothing should be labeled as new Quran. As a student, I appreciate the organization of the book and its value for knowledge seekers. In my Arabic translation studies, focusing on Makki/Madani Surahs initially facilitated understanding. I fail to see how this could be mistaken for the Holy Quran; it serves as a supplementary resource and Allah knows best.

It's a very common misconception that a mufti is rewarded for being mistaken, there's nothing like that the Hadith they're referring to is strictly talking about a judge arbitrating a case between two parties, he's is encouraged to make a judgement once he studied the case and gathered all of the information he could possibly do he must not abstain from ruling out of fear of making wrong judgment as he'll still be rewarded as long as he was honest, impartial and put the effort needed. Fatwa in the other hand in the contrary to what many (including allot of "scholars") think, should only be given if clear and taken only from Quran and verified Hadith no scholar is authorized to issue a fatwa otherwise the notion of ijtihad is later innovation.
The last point is very important. The reward for an incorrect ruling is for the scholar. It is not an excuse for us to follow incorrect rulings. Nor a discouragement against criticizing incorrect rulings. And I really don’t think Mufti Menk is qualified to give fatwa.

No one or mufti menk claimed it was ‘The new Quran’. Who are they to challenge the Quran revealed only and only by Allah first? Before criticizing allow yourselves to accept other information from people and look upon it as well. It’s these problem stirrers who are claiming it to be a New Quran or the marketing team, which I agree is wrong to do . But mufti menk didn’t have any likewise intentions or claimed so.

@@arhumshamim7753 look, by your logic, some curriculum teach Islamic studies and some reserve a special book aside for students in which surahs, their important verses and explanations are contained just like a tafseer e Quran. Just like here, these books may have order of surahs not matching that as of the noble Quran’s divine arrangement. Refer to this example of tafseer e Quran, mufti menk also arranged not all but some surahs in a way that its ease for readers to understand or whenever a surah reference came in his mind he thought has lots of advices for the ummah he listed it down and worked on its translation and then transferred it to a final version with the same order. If he were to do it for all 313 surahs, he would’ve followed the proper divine arrangement and respected rules of the noble Quran.
This is extremely disappointing.. Labelling this as a Qur’an is disgraceful.. A Muslim should have the utmost respect and care for the Qur’an as it has reached us.

The Qur'an is the only thing that is pure and remains the same, And no one has the right to change anything in it, so please leave it alone.... He could have written a separate book that would explain the times when the surahs were revealed without changing the order in the Qur'an. ‼️⚠️

Mufti Menk is 100% part of the problem. As a supposed learned indicueal he knows he shudnt be introducing it to his audience (of which there r many). His deviation in aqeedah is the root of this.

I think people in the comments are having an incorrect understanding of what the real issue is with this Quran. The issue is not that it’s in one order or another, or if it’s English or Arabic. From what I understand, Mufti Menk is only intending on this being a specific teaching tool for people learning Islam. What the real problem here is, and what this brother is discussing in this video, is that the way the book is being marketed is very unclear. It makes it seem like this is some sort of “new Quran” or some “new interpretation of the Quran” or something. This unclarity will lead to fitnah and division, at a time where that division and fitnah is very dangerous. So you can buy the book, and use it as a learning tool. But you can’t consider it the Quran itself. It’s not intended to be - and that’s probably part of the reason the book has no Arabic in it.
I hear there is a volume 2 with those missing surah. Sell it in one book, pay 1 price. Divide it into 2, can charge less for each, but make more. That's fairly common. Drama gets more views and audience participation. We expect to know everything immediately and are impatient.
If it says that it is translated suras that are showed in the order they were revealed, which means there is an educational purpose behind, so where is the confusion ? The first thing a muslim learn is that the Quran is an arabic scripture that is preserved and unchanged, it's a basic thing so who can think that this book is a new quran except the people who don't think ? Of course there are tafsirs and many books that talks about the order of the Revelation, but if the goal of one is just to learn about the order of the Revelation so this book can be useful.

Translation Qur'an in English are everywhere, and it already in proper order, it already PERFECT just how it is, because Qur'an is God's revelations, it is PERFECT. Human's brain won't reach the perfection of Qur'an.
It would be almost impossible to have it in chronological order for a number of reasons, partly because parts of suwar were revealed at different times. As you know the beginning of Surat al’Alaq was the first revelation but then the rest of the surah was revealed much later after other revelation. So you would have to chop up the surah to keep it chronological. Also because many parts of the Quran it’s not sure when they were exactly revealed. And some surah there is khilaf (difference of opinion ) about when they were revealed.
The holy quran should be read and studied as it is , allah has great wisdom in making the verses in this order It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it: But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated): { إِنَّ عَلَیۡنَا جَمۡعَهُۥ وَقُرۡءَانَهُۥ (17) فَإِذَا قَرَأۡنَـٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعۡ قُرۡءَانَهُۥ (18) } [Surah Al-Qiyāmah: 17-18]
English language speakers are missing out if they haven’t read the translation by the people behind that book. Absolutely superb beautiful and points in one direction only !
I will not be surprised if that "mufti " menk is trying to hide his aqeedah by not explanation of the verses ( ayah ) that speek about the names and attributes of Allah . Just as he did when escape during a class an verse the quran surah Ta Ha verse 05 " the Most Merciful rose above His throne " .

In my place there is a "Yasin book" for us to read surah yasin, some short surah and some prayer (dhua) bc in my place we usually pray for someone that passed away with that book (not read a full quran), but i dont understand why the title for the book in the video is "new quran" maybe changing the title will solve the confusion
They clearly made some mistakes. They should have listed the number of volumes. They also have another book for "The cow" surah. So it looks like they are trying to make it a series of books in chronological order. But there are no volume numbers. They should've done that, then most of the controversy won't start. Looks like each was made as separate volumes. Likely 3/4 of books but still no reference between books, naming it Quran as Revealed but not mentioned which books hold which surahs or number of the book on cover page(even inside of the book) is the issue.
Wonder how long till a whole new sect will be created and only follow this "quran". I believe it is a project funded and started by King Faysal (the previous king of Sa'udi Arabia) as a Sadaqah. Maybe when your parents go there they can ask people working there where to get a copy of the Quran. You can also look online maybe they have a website or maybe someone who has already gone there explains what to do. I hope these infos helps.

It's not a "new Qur'an", it's a work that presents the results of much study. There is much work out there about the order of revelation. It's not a change to anything, just presenting the results in a practical way for an English-speaking audience.
Maybe you have no interest in the chronological order of revelation, but it is of much scholarly interest.
The idea that this is some "new Qur'an" seems to me to be simply wrong, and this idea is the only thing that people take issue with. If they didn't have this idea (that they hold for some reason), there's nothing objectionable to reading surahs out of published order. How many children learn the last surah long before the second? Etc.

The only objectionable thing here is the concept that it is a "new Qur'an". But this concept is false, as it is not meant to be a "new Qur'an". People read the surahs out of order all the time (ie how many children can recite by heart the last 3 surahs before ever reading the first three?), and the order of revelation is of great value. There are a lot of works concerning the order of revelation as a matter of study, and it can be complicated and difficult for non-Arabic speakers to know which order is correct or appropriate. So publishing what research shows to be the correct chronological order in English is of value, especially being that it is formatted in this way as opposed to just saying, "Chapter such and such was revealed at so and so time".
The only really bad thing is this idea that he is trying to publish a "new Qur'an", but this concept is just not true as to what's happening. As if to push against this idea, it doesn't even contain the Medinan surahs!

I have a book of tafsir that only includes the 30th juz surahs. It's marketed as a short tafsir book, not Qur'an. I think it helped me memorize and have better understanding of the short surahs.
Maybe it would be better if they marketed and titled the book as tafsir of Makkan surahs in historical order, since it only consists of Makkan surahs. I think that would work just fine!

The sahabas were reverts and later they didn't need to give mekkan surahs only Qurans to the new peoples who were non Arabs who became Muslims. I am a revert and until this video I thought it was an “English Quran”. I would have bought it and NOT known there were missing Surahs or that it was out of order. (Unless I had researched the website and read all the “warnings”). I listen to Mufti Menks lectures and seeing him promote this had me excited for something “new”. It is strange to me that 1. It says “Quran” on the cover and in promotion when, in fact, it is NOT a Quran and 2. That anything promoted by a Sheikh, Mufti, etc. needs to come with warnings and further explanation as to why it is not something false or haram. This could have been another beautifully translated Quran, OR could have been another book explaining the Meccan surahs and NOT been promoted as a Quran.

Welcome to Islam sister. May Allah continue to guide you and of all of us! My sincere advice to you would be to avoid listening to speakers like menk, nouman khan, yasir qadi and those who associate with these kind of guys because they are known to water down Islam and promote only the aspects of Islam that will be accepted by the non Muslims. They will not talk or teach about the most important aspects of Islam like Tawheed, Aqida, The 5 daily prayers (how to perform them and the importance of them), importance Sunnah and staying away from innovations, etc. I know this may be a lot to take in and understand as a revert but try reflect on this. As a native Arabic who has a very high interest in this subject, I believe the translation of Dr. Mohammad Mahoud Ghali is the most accurate one. He spent about 13 years to finish the translation. You can find it with many others on the site of islamawakened. Dr. Ghali translation is used by many new translators as a reference. He was born in 1920 and past away may Allah reward him Jenna. Mufti Menk is not an Islamic scholar. I'm even reluctant to call him Sheikh at the very least. He is a Motivational Speaker. Don't take Serious Islamic Knowledge from Him unless he's telling you the obvious things, like Belief in Only Allah, 5 prayers. Him and his group of Westernized sheikhs are out to please the Disbelievers and misguide many. The prophet ( Peace Be Upon Him) said in. Hadith that what He Feared for Us more than the Trial of Dajjal is Speakers who will speak about Islam without knowledge and misguide many. ( Callers to the Hellfire) There is an organization of Islamic scholars and Menk is not one of them.

i understand youve come to this particualr party late: rejection of Menk is not based solely on this issue. People in the comments understand its his aqidah in which we primarily reject him. Any scandals that come from him is ultimately a result of such a deviated aqidah.

The strongest opinion in the order of the surahs and ayaahs in Qur'an is that all of them has been directed by Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wassalam, like which ayaah included in which surah. I'm not sure the intention of this order of the Qur'an but I'm extremely skeptical on any other order of the Qur'an.

This is not The Qur’an (Divine Speech compiled and relayed to the Ummah as intended by our Prophet PBUH). This is just Surahs how they were chronologically delivered and can be considered of educational/supplementary value. It is by no means a standard and no one has claimed as such. It does have educational value and the intension of the Mufti to educate and not to profit. Allah (SWT) knows best. We are not the judges. Being critical and skeptical is alright and demanding that this book be named “Surahs of the Qur’an as delivered chronologically,” makes sense and should be arbitrated. Do not call this book the Qur’an though. Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) intent is the standard Qur’an we have and it is absolutely unchanging because Divine Speech survives the time and tide (what we humans call evolution/change).

It clearly says it's a book to learn about the mekkan surahs in the order they were revealed.
Were the salaf confused because Allah revealed the Quran to them in this way? I know we are not the Salaf, but everyone knows the Quran was revealed out of order and if this book strives to educate us on that history and the way in which Allah subahanahu wa ta'ala revealed the Quran, then why not benefit from the book or just move on without having to refute the Sheikh for trying to educate the ummah just because you don't like the title or marketing of the book.
In a couple of years, nobody will remember the marketing and it will just be a book to reference and anyone who has a brain and opens it will know it isn't a translation of the whole Quran or an official re-structuring of the Quran, but rather a tool to better understand the way in which the Quran was revealed before the Hijrah.

I need more information, I’m sorry. Nothing should be labeled Quran the marketing should be very careful precise and mindful. I’d love to know more details of how the Quran was revealed and organized bc that’s fascinating to me, including what surahs were revealed when during what part of prophets time pbuh. I think scholars fail to relate that to ordinary ppl. There’s not much out there and I think Muslims would be interested. But nothing should be labeled as new Quran. There’s lot missing here I’ll have to look up this story myself.
It is concerning that they translated only the Mekkan surah, they left the Madinah surahs which have most of the laws and Shari'a.

It's a very common misconception that a mufti is rewarded for being mistaken, there's nothing like that the Hadith they're referring to is strictly talking about a judge arbitrating a case between two parties, he's is encouraged to make a judgement once he studied the case and gathered all of the information he could possibly do he must not abstain from ruling out of fear of making wrong judgment as he'll still be rewarded as long as he was honest, impartial and put the effort needed. Fatwa in the other hand in the contrary to what many (including allot of "scholars") think, should only be given if clear and taken only from Quran and verified Hadith no scholar is authorized to issue a fatwa otherwise the notion of ijtihad is later innovation.

I have a request one small student to another proper student, is it possible for you to cover the adilla on the order of the mushaf as it is so the people can realize how much of an alteration and a deviance this “New Quran” is. I feel like many people wouldn’t understand the gravity of this act because their distance from correct knowledge. Once they understand that the order of the mushaf is from Allah I think some will start understanding not only the deviance of this but many other deviances as well.

No one or mufti menk claimed it was ‘The new Quran’. Who are they to challenge the Quran revealed only and only by Allah first? Before criticizing allow yourselves to accept other information from people and look upon it as well. @@arhumshamim7753 look, by your logic, some curriculum teach Islamic studies and some reserve a special book aside for students in which surahs, their important verses and explanations are contained just like a tafseer e Quran. Just like here, these books may have order of surahs not matching that as of the noble Quran’s divine arrangement. Refer to this example of tafseer e Quran, mufti menk also arranged not all but some surahs in a way that its ease for readers to understand or whenever a surah reference came in his mind he thought has lots of advices for the ummah he listed it down and worked on its translation and then transferred it to a final version with the same order. If he were to do it for all 313 surahs, he would’ve followed the proper divine arrangement and respected rules of the noble Quran.

This is insane.
I think people in the comments are having an incorrect understanding of what the real issue is with this Quran. The issue is not that it’s in one order or another, or if it’s English or Arabic. From what I understand, Mufti Menk is only intending on this being a specific teaching tool for people learning Islam.
What the real problem here is, and what this brother is discussing in this video, is that the way the book is being marketed is very unclear. It makes it seem like this is some sort of “new Quran” or some “new interpretation of the Quran” or something. This unclarity will lead to fitnah and division, at a time where that division and fitnah is very dangerous.
So you can buy the book, and use it as a learning tool. But you can’t consider it the Quran itself. It’s not intended to be - and that’s probably part of the reason the book has no Arabic in it.
If I had the power, I would burn all prints of this book. What’s this… I doubt he would publish the same for the Medinese Surahs.

I hear there is a volume 2 with those missing surah. Sell it in one book, pay 1 price. Divide it into 2, can charge less for each, but make more. That's fairly common. Drama gets more views and audience participation. We expect to know everything immediately and are impatient.
If it says that it is translated suras that are showed in the order they were revealed, which means there is an educational purpose behind, so where is the confusion ? The first thing a muslim learn is that the Quran is an arabic scripture that is preserved and unchanged, it's a basic thing so who can think that this book is a new quran except the people who don't think ? Of course there are tafsirs and many books that talks about the order of the Revelation, but if the goal of one is just to learn about the order of the Revelation so this book can be useful.

It would be almost impossible to have it in chronological order for a number of reasons, partly because parts of suwar were revealed at different times. As you know the beginning of Surat al’Alaq was the first revelation but then the rest of the surah was revealed much later after other revelation. So you would have to chop up the surah to keep it chronological. Also because many parts of the Quran it’s not sure when they were exactly revealed. And some surah there is khilaf (difference of opinion ) about when they were revealed.
The holy quran should be read and studied as it is , allah has great wisdom in making the verses in this order

But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated):

Suppose they have good intention (be it for a complementary reading to learn the context and history chronologically or what not), considering the content, they could go with a title like "The Makkan Surahs in Order of Revelation" or if it's not just the Makkan, "Surahs from Qur'an in Order of Revelation", NOT calling it Qur'an in any way so it wouldn't mislead people to think it as the holy Qur'an.

In my place there is a "Yasin book" for us to read surah yasin, some short surah and some prayer (dhua) bc in my place we usually pray for someone that passed away with that book (not read a full quran), but i dont understand why the title for the book in the video is "new quran" maybe changing the title will solve the confusion
They clearly made some mistakes. They should have listed the number of volumes. They also have another book for "The cow" surah. So it looks like they are trying to make it a series of books in chronological order. But there are no volume numbers. They should've done that, then most of the controversy won't start. Looks like each was made as separate volumes. Likely 3/4 of books but still no reference between books, naming it Quran as Revealed but not mentioned which books hold which surahs or number of the book on cover page(even inside of the book) is the issue.
Wonder how long till a whole new sect will be created and only follow this "quran". I'm not taking any chances but you know There's going to be a group down the line who won't know any better and that will be Mufti Menks fault. Reminds me of how the Christians changed the bible.
